Compassionate and Caring
To get surgery done after a traumatic injury, my husband need a special blood type that was not available on island. Dr Rodriguez waited past her shift time for the blood to arrive from Honolulu and did the surgery, even though it was late. She saved my husband from being medi-vac to Oahu for surgery. This was during the covid pandemic. I would not be able to be in the hospital for surgery if he had been sent to Oahu

I had a hole in my right ankle the size of a dime. Several years of waiting for the healing process to start with not much tissue that was also week with age. The wound was also associated with a lot of tendon activity. It was a gamble to remove the non-healing cancerous edges of the hole pulling the week tissue together leaving a unnoticeable 3 inch faint scar. It has been a year, and what a relief not living with that oozing hole. Thank you Roger Stringham
