The worst doctor I’ve ever experienced. She spent 2 minutes in the room with me. She’s dismissive & does not communicate. Her staff are rude and condescending. She prescribed me a new medicine and didn’t explain why or any side effects. If your insurance allows you to see a different allergist run don’t walk.

Spends zero time with you and simply is a waste of time and money. I have horrendous allergies and she told me I have none.

First impressions are everything. I was referred to Amy by my Primary Dr. I call Amy's office to schedule an allergy test appt. They have me booked! The VERY next day I get a phone call saying that Amy has NOT accepted my insurance since 2014 so I'm like ok just cancel I'll find another Dr. Then about a week and a half later I get a phone from Amy's office the day of the canceled appt. Saying that my appt is at 9am its 7 30 am. I said no I canceled because someone in the office told me u guys didn't accept my insurance anymore. The receptionist wasn't even trying to hear what I had to say. Too much confusion going on in this Drs office.

Unlikely to return and less likel to recommend. Discussed upsetting immunology test results and she referred me back to my PCP! She doesn't seem to truly understand Immunology aspect of her practice. Left with no answers and even more questions as to why this is listed on her areas of expertise. She's too busy to discuss anything in depth and answer questions. Without realizing it, your appointment is over and she is halfway down the hall while you are chasing after her to finish your question....a shame and waste of time.

I had my original appointment on October 26 with Dr. Shah and appointment went well. She seemed great and so did my first appointment. After allergy testing that day I was told next steps would be coverage verification from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. After one week I called the office and they indicated they had not received any verification of benefits from insurance company. I called again following week and then was informed they were short staffed. I then received allergy codes from Dr. Shah office (separate location) and called the insurance company directly. Verified my benefits and called the office again. After several more calls to Dr. office I called insurance company again and found out original request for reimbursement to them was not even submitted until November 7. Totally unacceptable follow up by Dr.'s office. I knew I would still be waiting for allergy shots so I contacted another doctors office got right in and I am currently had four allergy shots.

Do you want to be treated like a nuisance go to Amy Shah! Her assistant Lana is worse, doesn't return phone calls. After pharmacy couldn't get a refill I left a message. 3 weeks later she finally called. In the mean time I had my family Doc approve the refill. And to top it off she misdiagnosed me. It took $400 and 6 months of allergy drops only to find out yesterday I do NOT have allergies. I have Vasomotor Rhinitis. NEVER go to Dr. Amy Shah! Don't have room for the billing issues.

I have been seeing Dr. Amy Shah for about five years. She is wonderful! She and her staff take the time to listen and discuss various situations and suggestions for short term and long term relief. I strongly recommend Dr. Shah for allergy relief. I have had huge success with the allergy shots I have been given and the treatment program for allergy related asthma.

This person, I'm not even going to call her a doctor, needs to be retrained on direct patient care. her staff does as well. Because of her attitude she is WORTHLESS!! I went to her twice to see about my allergies. I was insulted by her staff, treated like I was an anoyance instead of a person, and then turfed back to my GP by Mrs. Shaw herself. She wanted me to go someplace else to get blood tests to see what I'm allergic to. An allergist can't have blood work done for allergies? just worthless!

My condition was too bad and intolerable but she did not give any time (3/4 minutes) even though I was waiting more than one hour. she did not see my condition as well. I have asked question to her but she attempted to leave. requested her second time to give me 2 mins for my questions but she did not give me. right way I complained to her assistant. total environment need to be more well service. second time visit, she gave me max 5/7 minutes. not even pay attention to the problem.
