What an excellent, thorough doctor. She did an Ultrasound in addition to a Mammogram. She detected a precancerous condition that would have gone unnoticed by another doctor, since my OBGYN thought the mammogram looked normal. Dr. Thurmond is a patient advocate and will do everything possible to get her patients the tests they need to detect any early signs of breast cancer and save lives. I have had over thirty years of mammograms and have never experienced such personalized care. The staff is very caring. She did a biopsy and sent me for an MRI. Within ten minutes of leaving my MRI appointment, she called me with the results. The MRI techs told me it would take three days to get the results. I was astounded.
