Dr. Anastasia Marx, DO

i don’t even know how to start this off. it’s heavy. but in aug 2020, i came into the emergency department for suicidal ideation. i was covered in scars and cuts. originally, i was waiting for bed placement in a facility, i was fully medically cleared. my files were switched over to dr marx at some point, and no other notes were reported, i don’t even think i saw her in person. under someone’s guidance, hers or otherwise, i was discharged with nothing. they said i “didn’t qualify” for a bed, but the prior er doctor said i was, and he was calling all around the state to find me one, until his shift ended. less than 2 months later, i overdosed in attempt to k1ll myself. i can never forget this. if i got proper help the first time, i wouldn’t have been in the PICU 1 1/2 months later. it’s sickening to feel like just another number to a doctor.
