Long waiting time and poor follow up
I saw Dr. Colaco for an annual visit. I was left in the room for a long time (I had time to read 3 chapters of a book and I am not a fast reader); I waited so long that lights went off twice..Dr. Colaco finally came in: no apology only “some patients take longer” He asked three questions about my health and rushed me through the door. I had asked for a prescription renewal that he did not write. Nobody called me to explain the results of my lab work..I am changing practice.

Overall care
Been going to Dr Colaco for a few years now and have found him to be responsive and thorough. Not being one to have always taken the best care of myself, I appreciate his directness on what I need to do to improve my health and get off certain medications.

I agree that he is like a robot, doesn't laugh when appropriate, just worried about collecting data. Twice he told me to wait for one of his assistants who would provide some service after my meeting with him. These people never arrived, so I left the examining room without the service. Colaco looks quizzically at me as I pass him working in his office on his computer. Not as if he cares I was left in the examining room for 10 minutes after my appointment. Colaco: cold, distant, robot

Waited six hours to be seen by Dr. Colaco for release paperwork, was told Colaco had meeting and would get to me when he would get to me. Made judgement on my medical needs without knowing all facts and did not show any care for the human aspect of me. Was all about books and numbers, forgot I was a human.
