Fantastic Surgeon, Kind, Knowledgable, Excellent
I had a laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy performed by Dr Aslan on Feb 13th this year. I am SO glad I did.She is extremely knowledgeable and I trust her implicitly. She's highly skilled. Before I chose her as my surgeon, I asked several other people at Kaiser about her and the first words out of everybody's mouths when they heard her name were, 'Oh, she's really good!' She came highly recommended by my OBGYN and I know why. Dr Aslan's manner is friendly, compassionate, and she answered all my questions meticulously. The morning of my surgery I freaked out and had a panic attack. She offered to delay my surgery to give me more time to think, but I know that was not really on the table for me since I badly needed symptom relief. Plus, it had taken me two and a half months to get in to see her. Her waiting list is long for a good reason. She compassionately reassured me. Her team was awesome too. Plus, scarring and pain were minimal! You are in excellent hands with Dr Aslan!

Well, this was the longest wait in my life, while being dressed in a paper gown, at a doctor's office. I was waiting for the doctor for 50 minutes. 50 minutes! Nobody checked on me during this time. I got so cold that by the time she finally arrived, I was in tears and shivering with cold. It's just humiliating and inhumane treatment. I got sick afterwards and had to skip job. This is by far the worst doctor's appointment in my life. Not only I don't recommend that doctor to anyone, I'll never have any relations with Kaiser because of that.

I highly recommend Dr. Aslan. She is patient, kind, informed, and compassionate. I never feel rushed during appointments with her and she is fantastic about responding to email messages. I have seen her for regular women's health checkups, during a pregnancy, and for a procedure. I wish all my doctors were like her.

Dr. Aslan was very patient with me as we went through all of my issues. She was deliberate in all tests she ordered, and followed up quickly.

She is why I stick with Kaiser. She spends ample time talking and explaining things. I love that she personally calls even after hours to talk, review labs, etc.
