Rude and unprofessional
After a 2 min brief of extensive medical history, Duarte comes into room w/o introducing himself or asking me anything and accuses me of alcoholism. Dismissed everything prior PCPs and gastros said cause my NAFLD. Stated I wasn't overweight enough to have NAFLD despite obese BMI and that he was going to test my blood because he didn't believe me I wasn't an alcoholic. He jumped to this conclusion with nothing in my chart saying this, without knowing me, and after hearing a 2 min version of my medical history. This is the most insulting and unprofessional medical experience I've ever had. I know he deals with alcoholic patients in need of a transplant who probably lie to him, but he needs to tailor his treatment to each patient.

My husband was admitted to UAMS Dr Duarte-Rojo was great in the care along with the staff at UAMS that worked with the Dr. They all were diligent in tje care they provided

Have been a patient of his for sometime now. He is very knowledgeable, attentive, personable, and active in my care. I appreciate his attentiveness and knowledge. I would not want to go through this without him and his care. He is an old fashioned doctor who does not estate o make a critics for his patients.
