Dr. Andrew Amunategui, MD

Dr. Amuneteghi is handsdown one of the best Plastic Surgeons in South Florida. I have been coming to him for almost a decade for various cosmetic procedures and touch-ups. Every procedure has has done for me so far has exceeded my expectations. He is not only an amazing doctor with great bedside manners, but he has attentive and sharp eyes paired with talented and steadfast hands that create beautiful results. I myself work in the medical field, so I am speaking from a place of experience, and he is a gem that is very hard to find, especially with so many plastic surgery mills in South Florida.Dr. Amuniteghi is a very talented and experienced plastic surgeon who is very honest and is filled with integrity. He is very practical and discusses realistic expectations with his patients at the time of consultation.His prices are very fair for his expertise, and he is excellent at doing breast augmentation, Tummy Tuck, Blepharoplasty, BBL and of course lipo along with many more.

Had lipo of the arm and abdomen. Results didn't turn out as expected. Skin is lumpy and one of arm too much fat was removed so it appears discolored. Its so bad that I no longer wear sleveless tops. MD response to my concerns were quite mean and nothing like the nice Dr I had consulted with. Bothered me so much that after my second visit I just didnt go back.

I had a breast lift w/ implants by Dr. Amunategui. I didn’t want implants because I wanted a small, athletic look after having large implants for many years. Dr. A insisted that I needed small implants for projection. I was ok with that, but I clearly asked for the smallest breasts possible, perky and tight. He didn’t remove enough skin and so my breasts still sag. I can easily hold two pencils under both breasts. In addition to this, when they removed the stitches one of my stitches on the left nipple hadn’t fully healed and the scar opened up leaving a triangular scar approx 1 inch wide. From the first post-op visit and every visit after I pointed these things out. He would assure me that I had to wait 1 year for the breasts to settle before he would do a revision. I trusted him and waited patiently. When the year rolled around he refused to see or talk to me. I was never rude to him. When he refused to do the revision I asked if he would at least fix the scar. His answer, “No”.

Dr. Amunategui has done my lips and recently my eye lift. He is the most skilled , and gentle surgeon I have ever met. He is not only brilliant, he delivers amazing results. My daughter and her friends have also gone to him and are thrilled.

I have been going to Dr. Amunategui and his aestheticians for a variety of services for approximately 9 years. My most recent treatment was with Carrie for a microneedling treatment. She is fantastic. I highly recommend her for any aesthetic service. You will be in excellent hands.

I’ve seen Dr A about 4 times. The last time he put restayline silk in cheeks & one side turned bright red/blotch. Told me to put ice. Made it worse. Saw him for 3 minutes after a week. Told me to leave it alone. It will go away in several months. Sent photos. Told me I’m sending too many photos. Didn’t respond for 1 month.AFter I saw another Dr he said he would remove filler on that side but wouldn’t put it back. cheeks would look weird. Still have red blotch. Would never return poor attitude

Awesome experience on my breast augmentation. I got 520 cc silicone. Moderate plus. They came out very natural and exactly how I wanted them. He is a very skilled and experienced sugeron. I’d trust him to do another procedure on myself again. Great staff as well. 100% recommended

I am so lucky that I was referred to Dr. Amunategui. He and his staff are true professionals. I have received a level of care that is unheard of these days. In a sea of choices make sure you pick him. He and his staff will surpass your expectations.

Dr. Amuategui is a passionate human being and it shows through his extreme talent as a plastic surgeon. I had lower and upper blepharoplasty ( eye lid surgery as well as removal of loose sking and bags under the eyes). Frankly I look better than I did 20 years ago. Thank you Dr.Amunategui you are the best!! As with any person, I was at first very tentative. But after showing me his extensive portfolio with the natural end results achieved over and over again and his genuine attentive caring
