Worst Dr. EVER
Been going to Dr Egan for 2 years, had mental health issues, he gave the lowest dose of anxiety meds, then NEVER re-evaluated my situation even after I told him I needed to up my dosage or try something different. Then I had GI issues, he sent me for a hida-scan before a CT, endoscopy and colonoscopy!!General surgery said he should have done more tests before the hida-scan. And when my wife came with me because of concern of my health issues, he treated her like someone who was beneath him!! THEN after I quit him. He sent me a letter stating that I need a colonoscopy ASAP, as I'm almost 47. He should have done this when I first established care with him 2 YEARS AGO!!! Didn't take our concerns seriously!!! Didn't care about me as a patient or a human at all!!! SAVE YOURSELF TIME, MONEY, AND MENTAL HEALTH AND DON'T GO TO DR ANDREW EGAN. Worst experience with a Pittsburgh doctor EVER!!!

Poor Communication / no follow-up
Sick for over a week with severe diarrhea and fatigue. Lost 6 lbs in 5 days. Provided stool specimens for testing of various bacteria, cdiff, parasites, etc. Told results would take 48 hours. Over 80 hours and still no messages. Called to talk with dr and left message to call. No return call. Called again on the next day to get an appt. - not able to fit me in for 2 days. Terrible follow-up. Staff doesn’t ask right questions and once I feel better, I’m finding another doctor who takes his patients serious and really cares about patient health. He states that he will treat his patients like he would treat his family. Good luck with that. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR.
