Treatment and care
Dr. Farach is an amazing doctor! My daughter was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer. She started treatment in the Woodlands, the gynocologist and radiation oncologist are good. My daughter had multiple types of complications with chemo, external radiation and failed attempts to set her up for internal radiation. My daughter is small a part of the problem, the way the tumor was situated made it extremely difficult to do and horribly painful. The radiation doctor contacted Dr. Farach and my daughter about doing radiation be inserting needles into the tumor and inserting radiation into the needle a three day stay in the hospital. Dr. Farach asked if he could try to do the ring and tandem procedure again if it didn't work he would admit her for the other treatment. He succeeded with the ring and tandem procedure. THIS DR. IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST WITH THIS PROCEDURE! He and his staff are wonderful kind and caring! Dr. Farach is transparent with information. Will forever be THANKFUL!!!!

I have been fighting with cervical cancer for several years, meeting with different doctors. Dr. Farach treated my recurrent cervical cancer with brachytherapy two months ago. He carefully explained the treatment procedures and answered any questions that I had. His great care, knowledge, technical skills and patience made me feel safe and comfortable. The best doctor I have ever met.

Dr. Farach treated my recurrent prostate cancer with brachytherapy two months ago. He and his wonderful team at Methodist applied their vast technology in an attempt to eradicate the cancer. I feel confident they got the job done. Dr. Farach and his team at Methodist are caring and friendly, plus Dr. Farach speaks Spanish, which goes a long way with my Spanish speaking wife. The technology they can apply to a problem is extensive and they can do it quickly--like often in the same day as an office visit. A big plus if you live 2 hours away. Brachytherapy has come a long way during the last 15 years. If applicable, I would recommend it to anyone with recurrent cancer, and I would unequivocally recommend Dr. Farach and Methodist to do the work.

Very knowledgeable and blended the perfect amount of compassion while maintaining his professionalism. My mother and I stopped by during the holidays to give him a gift to show our gratitude for all the individual attention he gave her during this very difficult time and over heard this conversation.. Nurse 1 “Dr Farach’s office looks like Christmas!” Nurse 2 “Christmas?” Nurse 1 “It’s filled with gifts” Dr Farach is as great a person as he is great a doctor. Beloved by patients and staff..

Dr. Farach exhibited utmost professionalism, coupled with care and compassion beyond belief. Dr. Farach belongs to one of those rare breed of doctors who are not only brilliant in their work, but who have the patience to listen to an elderly patient. He is blessed to have the empathy to treat the elderly with human dignity. He made me feel secure and safe in his care. They say the darkest hour is just before dawn. In our darkest hour, we had the light of Dr. Farach.
