Dr. Andrew Grudzinski, MD

I scheduled an appointment two months in advance, and their office confirmed with me four times. However, just a few hours before my appointment, they called to inform me that the doctor wouldn’t be coming and canceled my appointment. This behavior is highly unprofessional. Additionally, when I spoke with the scheduling clerk, Chris, he was extremely rude.

Had some tests done and my return visit for results got pushed out for a year! Meanwhile I’m suffering! Still don’t have my results.

Dr. Grudzinski has always given me the very best of care. He is very thorough in his examinations and testing which has resulted in early detection of tumors in both my bladder and kidneys. He is very thorough in explaining things and always listens intently on what I am telling him. I trust him and his skills as a surgeon more than any doctor that I have seen here in the Myrtle Beach area.

Without knowing for sure if I did indeed have a UTI, Dr. Grudzinski prescribed a very potent and dangerous antibiotic Levaquin that came with 11 pages of "very bad" side effects and included warnings like "Some of these side effects may not go away, and may lead to disability or death."..... "Very low blood sugar has lead to coma and sometimes death." (I am diabetic!) Prescribing this to someone who lives alone as a home remedy borders on criminal in my view!

I had one one visit/examination and found Dr. Grudzinski borderline rude, curt, and lacking any sense of patient feelings/embarrassment. With a female note taker present he asked questions such as have you tried a pump, implant, or viagra. He was clearly agitated at me "putting" off his question and carried his agitation over into discussions about a possible hernia. He then walked out without a word. No, I will not recommend nor return to this dr.

Any Dr. that don't listen & really hear what a patient is saying about their own body deserves no RESPECT to their profession, as I was brushed off so easily , it wasn't funny. Only was interested in his opinion, & making appoints.. It's all about the $$$$ I'll stick to my Primary Dr.. she's more compassionate, & understanding..( Specialists ) lose their human touch. & Dr. Andrew Grudinski showed this BIG TIME..His way is the only way..I'm done w/ specialists
