Saved my shoulder and my livelihood.
My shoulder was a mess. From shredded cuff to torn and or detached tendons & ligamentsI was amazed 3mo later, pitching in my seniors league. Football, baseball, tennis, surfing all my life. I was told by 2 others I would have to make choices. Dr Hartman said, 'do what I say' and I did.

Always late!
Scheduled 1st appointment with Dr. Hartman in July. Waited an hour and was then informed he was running an additional hour late and given the option to reschedule which I did. Went for rescheduled appointment today and after 20 minutes was informed he would be at least another 45 minutes and again given the option to reschedule. I cancelled all together and going to find another doctor. I understand occasional emergencies but my time is valuable too and took off work twice for nothing. I'm sure he's probably a good doctor but unfortunately I'll never know.

still suffering 11 years now with full blown CRPS that most likely could have been stopped if Hartman didn't dismissed my pleas for help about post surgery pain and contractions!

Great bedside manner & very concerned about your questions. His staff is excellent & on top of things. He is also an excellent shoulder surgeon, so I quess that was a typo as he is not only a hand surgeon. He’s very thorough & I would highly recommend him. Especially if you’re athletic!

I was lucky enough to have Dr. Hartman as my Ortho to fix a very troublesome long term shoulder issue. What stood out most is his attention to detail and ability to actually listen to patient concerns. Seeing a surgeon is stressful, but his team made the process very easy to handle. I'd also of course add that my recovery has been very rapid and I am already experiencing much less pain and more mobility. I will soon be back to throwing my famous 41 mph fastball.

I chose Dr. Hartman for my second surgery because I was back at work when I needed to be after he did a carpal-tunnel release on my dominant hand. He recently repaired my badly damaged shoulder and, six months later, I am ahead of my anticipated recovery trajectory. I've been told by several people that he's the surgeon who fixes the really tough cases. He has an exacting protocol for patients' recovery, and following it has made this experience so much easier for me.
