Got my wisdom teeth removed and one side became horribly infected. Went back and he barely looked into my mouth and then gaslighted me by telling me nothing was wrong. The receptionist was also extremely rude and gaslighting me saying that it was all normal and acting like I was crazy for wanting to come back in earlier that day. The next day I went to the dentist as an emergency visit and they told me I needed 'really strong antibiotics.' I didn't want to go back but no one else would see me since Horowitz did the original work. The follow up visit was pointless, he never apoligized and this was a serious case of medical neglect! Called back to ask a question about my healing and the receptionist was extremely rude again. Really unbelievable.

My mom was undergoing chemo and was told by her oncologist that she had to have most of her teeth pulled due to decay and possible infections. Dr. Horowitz and his staff got my mother in immediately. He extracted 11 teeth! My mother had no swelling and no infections. We were told by Dr. Salomon yesterday that she needed two additional teeth pulled. Dr. Horowitz and his staff made time for her yesterday to have those teeth pulled. You can tell they care. Thank you to the entire staff at NYOMIS. I am eternally grateful for all of you.

He explained what he was doing during oral surgery. He stopped when there was a problem and explained what happened and next steps.

My son who has special needs, received an implant from Dr. Horowitz. The Dr. was very patient and reassuring which made my son so comfortable. It went better than I envisioned.

Friendly, explained the procedure well and answered all of our questions.

I was a little trepidatious heading in for my first implant. Dr Horowitz was knowledgeable and confident which set me at ease. The extraction was a little rough but that is the nature of the procedure. After a bone graft then the required 3 months healing, installing the implant was the easiest part. Unfortunately I am in need of a second implant but now I know where to go to get it done well.

He pulled my teeth did implants and a sinus lift!!! It was painful after but better today!!!

I have had more than one extraction and implant and kept going back and recommending them.

Dr. Horrowitz is a great surgeon, and the entire staff is very professional and competent. Dental surgeries and implants are not pleasant experiences. But, since I needed them, I am very happy I have done mine at the New York Oral, Maxilofacial, & Implant Surgeries. in Scarsdale. I am pleased with their services they have provided and would gladly recommend Dr. Horrowitz.

Dr. Horowitz is a highly competent and skillful oral surgeon, and he is impeccably professional in his demeanor. He explains every procedure in elaborate detail and patiently answers all questions. I was under his care twice, and I am extremely satisfied with his professionalism and skill. The dental assistant, Nicole, and the receptionist at the front desk (whose name I do not know) are also very highly efficient and accommodating. If you require oral surgery, without hesitation, I recommend Dr. Horowitz.

Dr. Horowitz could not have been more personable. He spent plenty of time with both my wife and I who were both seen today. He gave straight forward easy to understand opinions and findings. He could have had a patient in my wife for 6 implants and bone grafts but he said she was not a good candidate for the procedure. I would recommend him to anyone who needs an excellent and ethical oral surgeon.

Dr. Horowitz & his team did a great job. They regularly checked in on me to make sure I was comfortable during my wisdom teeth extractions. And they prepared me well both before & after the procedure on what to expect.

I needed to have a tooth pulled in order to make room in my mouth for braces. Dr Horowitz and his team were exceptionally professional and courteous. The office never kept me waiting, everyone was polite, and they made sure I was comfortable and informed about my procedure. The entire visit was completed in ten minutes! Painless and perfectly done. I highly recommend Dr Horowitz and his staff.

He charged me for bone grafts that never worked,then he referred me to a prostodontist for a bridge,thanks to my dentist ,he referred me to a periodontist that was able to make the bone grow with bone morphogenic protein.now I can happily say that I have my implants and i am ready for my crowns.After I confronted Dr Horowitz and told him that I have implants and why was it that he never gave me the option of doing bone morphogenic protein,he said that he will do it but obviously was too late.
