Dr. Hurvitz performed 2 shoulder surgeries on me in 2023. I had very high (maybe unrealistic) expectations post surgery. Still, he was professional and took the time to walk me through the procedures and answer any questions I had. He showed a genuine interest in me as a patient, accounted for the physical activities in my day to day life, and tailored the operations accordingly. I have the utmost confidence in his work and would consider him a friend. Highly recommended!Thank you SURG HURV!

ACL/Meniscus Repair
Dr. Hurvitz is an outstanding and flexible doctor. I experienced my ACL/Meniscus injury in June and he worked me into his schedule and completed my surgery two weeks later. He was honest from the start and worked with me to achieve my goal of returning to duty. I absolutely recommend him to anyone seeking care for your knee injury and would go to him again!

Outstanding Experience
Dr. Hurvitz was not only professional, but compassionate toward my concerns. He performed surgery on both of my hips, and I could not have asked for better results! He set me at ease during my pre-op appointments, and thoroughly explained what he found and did during my procedures. I am able to perform routine activities without the pain I was experiencing beforehand. I strongly recommend him.

2 hip surgeries
Dr. Hurvitz is a personable doctor who I recommend to anyone. I had torn labrum in both hips over the years being an active duty Marine, and he performed the surgeries to correct both. I had a growth on both femurs as well, that he had to correct, too. My first one was completed March 2022, and the second was in Sept 2022. I am very active and stay fit by doing F45!

Fantastic Doctor/Surgeon
I had the privilege of having Dr. Hurvitz providing me with check ups and surgery to my meniscus. He went beyond my expectations with both. Always made sure I was receiving the best care, comfort and rehabilitation. My surgery was beyond my expectations. I was able to have the pleasure of his incredible skills to save my knee. I would highly recommend him to friends, family and anyone in need of orthopedic procedures.

Highly Recommend!!!
Dr. Hurvitz surpassed expectations in all aspects of my care. During my initial consult, he was very attentive to my concerns, conducted an in depth physical exam, and provided a thorough explanation of my options. Once I elected for a surgical procedure, I felt well informed in about what the steps would be and what to expect at any given time. The procedure itself was performed flawlessly, on time, without any issues and recovery was much better than expected because of the individualized care I feel Dr. Hurvitz provided in regard to pharmacological and therapeutic interventions. At each follow up appointment, I was seen on time and with the same genuine level of attention that I received prior to the surgery. He always made a point to ask if there was anything else I needed and asked if I felt good about the outcome of the surgery. I am now pain free with a total return of function. Excellent overall care!!!

Before my surgery i was in constant pain. I felt as if i had to live with it forever. I was apprehensive to having surgery but my Nerves were calmed after meeting with Dr. Hurvitz. He was highly recommended, everyone I talked to said If surgery was necessary he was the guy to do it. He did not disappoint as I am now back to full duty WELL ahead of the estimated 12 months. 38 y.o, right shoulder surgery for torn labrum
Doc Hurvitz was incredible during the entire 10 months as he walked me through the pre-hab (4 months), surgery, and rehab (6 months). He explained things well and understood my limitations and goals. My shoulder went from being nonfunctional to fully functional because of his guidance as I prepared my shoulder for surgery (pre-hab, getting as close to full range of motion back), his skill as a surgeon performing the surgery flawlessly, and monitoring my rehab). I absolutely could not recommend Doc Hurvitz any higher.

Surgery on left shoulder
I had a bad shoulder, it had dislocated numerous times and had become a pretty serious issue. After having experienced a bad surgery in the past, I was a little weary on getting surgery done on this. Dr. Hurvitz did an amazing job! He was very professional yet friendly throughout the experience and stuck by me until I had made a complete recovery. My shoulder is better than new, I haven’t experienced any issues since and feel confident in being able to use it again!

Hip Arthroscopy/Labrum Repair/FAI
Dr. Hurvitz is such a great surgeon. Everything from Pre-Op to Surgery and follow-ups were went so well. He is a very experienced doctor that is easy to trust and is thorough when explaining the issues and possible solutions. While in the military, I had a bad fall from a helicopter that messed up my hip and had me in pain for years. Dr. Hurvitz immediately recognized the problems and had me scheduled for surgery right away. The improvements were noticeable the same day of the surgery. The surgery went very smoothly and I was able to recover and return to normal activity (without pain) way ahead of schedule. He has truly been a blessing and I would trust him with any of my family and friends. Thank you Dr. Hurvitz for giving me my mobility back.

During my first visit with Dr. Hurvitz, we discussed in detail the options for my shoulder issue. I was impressed that surgery was not his first suggestion. When surgery became the best option, we set down and he explained how the procedure would be performed and provided realistic expectations on full recovery. It's been almost a year since my procedure and I'm happy with my progress. The surgery addressed the problems I was having and I'm headed towards full recovery. Hopefully I won't need any further procedures, but if I do I know that Dr. Hurvitz would be open and honest and let me make the best decision for me. Five stars in every aspect!

Surgery
I had near unmanageable right and left hip pain for over two years due to a CAM deformity. After educating me on an what best options he recommended he preformed an arthroscopy and labrum repair on both hips. I’m now 8 months and 5 months out (right and left respectively) and total relief of symptoms. All in all fantastic patient care and amazing post op success

Doctor Hurvitz did my most recent ACL reconstruction and it was my only successful surgery out of the 4 surgeries I have had done. My surgery was a tedious two stage reconstruction and he was able to repair it with ease. He is a consummate professional who always acknowledged my concerns and provide the correct care. I highly recommend Dr. Hurvitz to anyone who is need of an orthopedic surgeon due to his high level of knowledge and skill.

Hip Arthroscopy
Dr. Hurvitz performed a arthroscopy on my right hip after I was managing issues for about a year. My issues were that it often felt like a rod was lodged in the front of my hip through to my glute. Dr. Hurvitz performed a few rounds of assessments, including requesting different imagery, to identify the musculoskeletal issues I had and then gave me a frank recommendation on the pros and cons of surgery. Six months out and I am progressing rapidly and am very happy with the results. My surgery included a repaired labrum and correction to my femur to fix an impingement. I am very happy with my experience and results with Dr. Hurvitz!
