Doctor left son on or table sedated while he took
Dr. Andrew jea at ou pediatric Neurosurgery doesn't do very good making unsound decisions especially when trusted to take care of our kids. Find a different local Pediatric Neurosurgeon just not at OU because he runs that show and is pulling the strings. We later found out through staff that he misdiagnosed a tumor calling it a cyst among other things. Just do your due diligence and watch the fake reviews and I am sure he has helped plenty in the past but he appears to be going down a different path now with patient care when the curtains are closed. Further investigation shows that the hospital made him the director or surgical and patient safety which is insane. What are you doing OU you used to be so good.

I would give this man a zero if I were able. He treated my son from birth and caused irreparable harm. My son was showing signs of an infection (verified by our nurse) and we brought him in for evaluation multiple times. He dismissed our concerns and said everything was fine. It was not fine. A day after our last visit to have him re evaluated for an infection he had a 10 minute seizure and we had to call an ambulance. He had developed a brain abscess and required surgery. My son regressed as a result of his neglect. As parents we were new to the medical world and trusted everything he said. My son then started displaying shunt malfunction symptoms months later. Dr. Jea once again dismissed this and said everything was fine. At the encouragement of another doctor we requested a 2nd opinion. There was indeed a shunt malfunction and my son was rushed off to surgery. I understand people make mistakes and we are all human. However, he never even said he was sorry. Proceed with caution!
