I LOVE this doctor. He actually listens to me and my concerns. I never feel rushed with this doctor and he gives me options to my care and discusses these in full.

Dr. K was the best most caring surgeon I have ever met with. He took time to go over all my concerns and questions. He was very thorough and listened to my concerns. He never seemed rushed. I would highly recommend him!

Dr. Andrew Kastenmeier was exceptionally kind, thorough, and professional in explaining the options of therapy for my inguinal hernia. I was made to feel that I was a full participant in any decisions made. I could not have been more pleased and impressed with his consultation, especially since I am myself a retired physician.

Routine inguinal hernia surgery led to a NINE DAY hospital stay because he sutured my intestine to my abdominal wall. It was not until seven days of horrible “recovery” after the surgery when I went to the ER. I spent nine days in the hospital without food or water while on bowel rest. The experience left me scarred physically and mentally. Never heard a word from him after the initial surgery.

To address my issue, Dr. Kastenmeier performed a recurrent open inguinal hernia repair with mesh. He is a knowledgeable, experienced, compassionate and skillful surgeon who thoroughly explained all options leading up to and through the procedure. He and his staff are top notch.
