As a physician and orthopedic surgeon myself, I can go to anyone I choose for my surgery and my son surgery but we chose Dr Levy because he is the best. Not only is he up-to-date on all the latest procedures, but he is one of the pioneers for mini procedures. It is also one of the best skilled orthopedic surgeons that I’ve ever worked with. If you have a sports injury, he is THE MAN

Dr. Levy was the second Dr. I saw about my damaged meniscus. The first one said there was nothing he could do. He was a very famous upper east side doctor, and, although very kind and understanding, basically told me that I would have to get used to it. Dr. Levy on the other hand mentioned that he loves a good challenge and asked that I come in so he could see what it was like. Almost immediately he said he could improve it with some minor arthroscopic surgery. Two weeks later I got the procedure and within the month all my knee pain was gone. More importantly I am able to run for the first time in years. Thank you Dr. Levy you changed my life for the better :)

Got a second opinion on a knee issue that was considered to be a strong candidate for partial knee replacement. Instead, Dr. Levy did arthroscopy and found that there was a soft tissue problem which he cleared up. Now my knee is almost pain-free and much more mobile. I also had a PRP injection to help the healing, and I am back to exercising. I might eventually need a partial knee replacement, but I am very happy to have resolution of my symptoms with just an arthroscopy! Thank you to Dr. Levy and his assistant Kevin!

My husband and I saw Dr. Levy on 12/05/19 for injury related shoulder pain. I had cartilage repair of both knees and right rotaor cuff repair by Dr.Levy in 2009 with excellent results. He is such a skilled surgeon that we prefer to see only him although we live 200 miles away. Dr Levy is very kind and genuinely cares about his patients. Very considerate, thinks about the needs of patients. As we live far away he helps us to limit travel to his office by taking care of things through email. He singlemindedly focuses on improving patients' quality of life. When we developed new shoulder injury, we were comforted by the thought of seeing Dr.Levy as we have absolute faith in him. Kevin Cousins physician assistant is very good and responsive to any questions, and front staff Ms Carmen and Daniella are very helpful. One caution, at times Dr, Levy can be taciturn and this could be misinterpreted but he genuinely cares about his patiens.

I have three surgerys done by Dr Levy and staff and I would not hesitate to recommend to other family and friends about the excellent work they have done.

Today I visited the office ,and had a chance to meet Dr. Levy's PA. The PA, Kevin was very nice, gentle and informative. He explained my condition on a level I can understand. Good to have a nice doctor that has good bedside manner.

My experience with Dr Levy and his wonderful PA and other staff members has been nothing short of pure joy. Dr. Levy is far more than an excellent surgeon though when I needed my knee surgery that was my only criteria. Not only did his work heal me but his kind bedside manner, attentiveness, and the clarity with which he spoke soothed me. Having been a dancer my biggest fear was never being able to dance again so I had been very fearful of surgery, but after meeting dr levy o knew he was the only surgeon for me. I am ever grateful and could not recommend him more.
