Thank you Dr. McIntosh
We came back to Dr. McIntosh after a few years off medication for my daughters ADHD. He welcomed us back, remembered her, very easy to talk to and develop a new plan for high school goals. Office staff amazing and easy to work with.

Thank you Dr McIntosh
My son has been experiencing febrile seizures for over a year now and his last one caused doctors at the hospital to refer us to a neurologist to look into things a little more. As a mom, it truly is a daunting feeling, especially the 'waiting game' when looking for appointments, openings and answers. After speaking to our primary pediatrician, local neurologists had two month waits! Dr McIntosh got us in that week! We started with a detailed meeting in person, where we could ask any questions, followed by a visit for the EEG and then a follow up for results. My son is only 2, but his team and office made him feel so comfortable. (Very child friendly waiting room and special touches like kid themed backpacks for the equipment). Neurology concerns are so stressful, this Dr and his team really made us feel like a priority.

Excellent Physician
We had been searching for a provider to manage my son's condition, and we are so grateful to have found Dr. McIntosh. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly connects with my 13-year-old son. I appreciate his comprehensive approach to care—he considers the psychosocial context and addresses all aspects of my son's well-being, rather than simply prescribing medications. The office staff is also great, and easy to communicate with. I genuinely feel that my son is getting the thoughtful care he deserves, and we are incredibly thankful!

Thorough initial consult for chronic headaches...
Dr. McIntosh was very informative concerning my daughter's chronic headaches. I was extremely impressed at how thorough he was with her initial exam and how well he explained everything on her level. Hopeful that these new medications will help alleviate her frequency and severity of her migraines. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a pediatric neurologist!

Great experience
We came to Dr. McIntosh for an initial consultation with our daughter and it was excellent. The initial consultation was very informative and gave us a lot of answers without any unnecessary procedures or meds. Both he and his front office staff were friendly, patient and accommodating. He has a great way of dealing with kids and speaking respectfully to them, our girl really responded to his approach.Great experience overall, I highly recommend.

A true Godsend
Dr. McIntosh is a Godsend for our family. we were referred to him by our daughters pediatrician for ADHD. From the moment we met him he made us feel comfortable & assured that our daughter was in good hands. He is thorough & has great bedside manner for kids, making them feel comfortable as well. For us, after we started on a plan for managing our oldest daughter’s ADHD she had a seizure at home out of nowhere. The hospital referred us to another neurologist after finding a lesion on her brain during a MRI but we insisted on seeing Dr. McIntosh. He had her EEG testing scheduled & done within a few days from the seizure & diagnosed with epilepsy and on meds to treat her within a week. We cannot express how thankful we are to have met Dr. McIntosh prior to this seizure. We were terrified but he really put our minds at ease. His office staff is great as well and always on top of things. Our middle daughter now sees him as well to manage her ADHD & we know our girls are in great hands.

Great Doctor
Dr McIntosh was a breath of fresh air. My son had been diagnosed 8 months prior with CHOC neurology and so that is all we have known; so coming into McIntosh's office was very refreshing. He is compassionate and thorough I feel like we are in very good hands. He gave my son hope and a direction.

Excellent care
Fantastic care and extremely knowledgeable. Dr McIntosh was able to see us on short notice and provide a second opinion with regards to my daughters childhood absence seizures diagnosis. It was great to have expert advice during such a stressful time. Additionally, the office visit itself was seemless. He saw us right on time. My daughter was occupied during the times we wished to speak without her there. Exceptional care across multiple dimensions.

Great Bedside and Expertise!
Dr. McIntosh has an excellent bedside manner and very thorough in explaining to both of us and our daughter the diagnosis and treatment. Appointment was on time and he spent a very long time with us without feeling rushed. He is very knowledgeable and precise. Many of the places we called had 6 months waiting period to be seen which does not make sense when you are trying to treat conditions happening now. It was well worth the price of not going with our insurance as we got better care diagnosis and treatment then if we had waited for any other doctor.

Great first visit!
Our first appointment was a great experience with Dr. M and his team. We were running late due to a misunderstanding on our appointment time and the office called us to make sure we were arriving as we did not want to lose our appointment. Luckily we weren't too far away and got there albeit late. Checking in was easy and the team was very friendly. There are a lot of books and a cute Thomas the Train, train table for the littles to enjoy while parents meet with Dr. M. When we met Dr. M he was very kind and listened to everything that was a concern or question. His approach with our child was also very warm and encouraging. He listened and showed him a great deal of kindness. We left feeling good about our choice in Dr. M and our son enjoyed his visit and the lollipop at the end. Thank you Dr. McIntosh and team!

We were very happy with our experience with Dr. McIntosh. He was thorough, patient, and knowledgeable. Most impressive was how considerate and kind he was with our daughter. I appreciated how he spoke to her directly and in ways she would understand and not be intimidated by. At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. McIntosh formulated a detailed, but very workable, plan while inviting both our input and questions. His office staff was also a pleasure to work with. They were clear and responsive. I cannot recommend Dr. McIntosh and his office enough!
