I’ve had 2 hand surgeries for my osteoarthritis and have been very pleased with the outcomes. He knows just what needs to be done and explains what the process will be in a way that I can understand.

The entire staff at the surgery center was great. I need another procedure in a few months and hope they are working with me again. Don’t recall all but remember Dr Johnson, Sandy Y, Miranda, and other whose names I can’t recall. Dr McNamara has been great and I want a big shout out for the team.

Follow up visit after surgery, visit went well, the DR is always friendly and upbeat and answers all of the questions for us. I would recommend this Dr for all of my orthopedic needs. This place is great. I cannot say enough about how nicely I have been treated throughout this whole process including the PT.

His understanding of my panic attack and total phobia of insects. He answered every single question I had regarding my blood test results. I truly trust his opinion. He’s never steered me wrong and he’s always efficient and thorough with anything I have to have done. If he hadn’t ordered lab work for me I would’ve never known I have Lyme disease. He listens to my every concern and inquires. I went to my appointment with him because of my ganglion cyst removal he did 6 months ago. It doesn’t seem to be fully healed yet and he said that the Lyme disease was a direct cause of my first two rows of knuckles in the ganglion cyst hand. Which was my entire reason for seeing him because my knuckles were seriously burning in extreme pain. Lyme disease will cause that. McNamara definitely has excellent bedside manner. I love that he and I are able to crack jokes and how I am able to make him smile and laugh. I put him expertise wise right up with Dr. Michael Kearney.

From the date of surgery for broken left wrist to release date my experience with the surgeon and all of the staff has been excellent. I highly recommend this practice/clinic.

This so-called Hand Surgeon Specialist failed in all areas of treatment for serious Right Wrist Distal Radius & Ulnar Styloid fractures after Closed Reduction procedure in ER. I saw Dr. McNamara on day 7 after injury. By 4 weeks post-injury, he continued to inform me everything was healing properly & even though he never mentioned the 2mm height difference shown on 2 images, he noted in portal document & I wasn't supposed to return for 3 weeks. Meantime, I had seen my primary as pain worse with evidence of bruising. 4 images ordered ASAP found serious malunion resulting in Rt. Wrist ORIF Osteotomy with Bone Graft by a different Orthopedic Surgeon. Surgery should have been performed within 2 weeks of injury. He failed to treat me accordingly & overall medical care was extremely unacceptable. He doesn't deserve one star & should be removed from the Orthopedics Medical Field of Hand Surgeons.
