He no longer seems to care. The issues are many. I returned for a follow-up appointment and he had no idea why I was there. He did not know about a common medical condition, tried to find it on-line while I was in the exam room with him, and when he could not locate it on-line said that I should not worry about it. I believe that it dangerous medically to see him.

I had one interaction with him. He was extremely rude. I refuse to see him. Unfortunately, my husband and son frequently get stuck with him. If you want useless tests, wrong diagnoses off the internet and no follow up, see him. My son went in for skin and joint pain. According to Pankow, he had PTSD as a result of an assault two years prior. I had him see a doc in Seattle--he had an autoimmune disorder. Apparently Pankow thinks he's a shrink. Avoid this guy like the plague.

He'd be okay I guess if you already have a diagnosis. Otherwise, he's just there to refer tests, which are ridiculously costly in this hospital system. Took my wife to see him before she was diagnosed with her cancer. She tried to tell him that Tylenol makes her sick (turns out she was allergic) and he immediately assumed she meant that she wanted him to prescribe narcotics (something she never takes). He even wrote that in her chart. Don't expect him to listen or care.
