Cataract removal
Was very misinformed on what the procedure actually entailed. I was very confused on why there were options on what vision was to be corrected?? I could do near sight and far sight or both. Well at $500 per choice, and being on SS as my only form of income, I only selected to correct my distance, I was content with using one pair of readers for close up. While I complained that what ever happened, it made my near vision extremely worse. It now takes 3 different levels of reader glasses so that I can see computer, phone and then reading dials or directions in the kitchen. I told him I hate what has happened to my eyes and I wanted to fix the near vision and his response was that he would recommend another Dr. for this. I said no, you broke it, you fix it. After 8 appts and 4.5 months, try contacts, drops and warm cloth: there was no good result. I was previously an avid rock hounder, I have now been without my favorite activity for 2 years. 9 months later the bills pour in!
