I have a blood cancer that is treatable but not curable thus, I have quarterly visits for blood draws which will continue for the rest of my life.. Dr. Shaw and the staff are respectful and pleasant . Dr. Shaw and his staff allow ample time for my responses to any questions that they ask. The results from the blood draws are shared in a timely fashion during the visit or via email as the test results are available. If I bring up a concern, it will be brought up at future visits as a check in question. Dr. Shaw and his staff have a calm and reassuring demeanor, which helps with any concerns I may have as I navigate life with a blood cancer.

He took the time to thoroughly explain the test results and moved forward with next steps. He does this in a compassionate manner and makes sure you have no questions before the end of the visit.

It was a pleasure working with Dr. Shaw. He was professional, honest and clear with my diagnosis. He provided a plan to treat my condition and was honest about what would entail if not followed. I highly recommend Dr. Shaw.

Dr. Shaw has been my oncologist for about 2 years, after my previous physician left the practice. I have found him to be very competent, caring, and genuinely concerned for me. Our appointments are always productive with good back and forth communication. He always listens to me. Our appointments are never rushed and almost always on time. I know I have his full attention and that he is acting in my best interest. Dr. Shaw is my trusted oncologist and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Shaw is always willing to explain my current health status clearly. He'll take time to answer my questions, not only about my CLL, but about any other current health issues I am concerned about. I'm 78 yrs old and I consider him one of the top 3 doctors I have ever had!!Also have to say the blood draw folks are top notch! :)

Dr. Shaw is an amazing medical oncologist. From the initial consult to treatment plan, he is there with you every step of the way. He implements every preventive measures in place to make this as comfortable and successful journey. A compassionate doctor who genuinely cares about you as being his patient. I would highly recommend him and his staff.

Not only is Dr. Shaw is the most compassionate and kind physician I have ever seen, he is a brilliant oncologist. Upon receiving a diagnosis of cancer, Dr. Shaw immediately made me feel comfortable and extremely confident in his care. When I am in his exam room, he sits at my level and makes eye contact with me while explaining my lab results and any new prescriptions, etc. If you are fortunate enough to have him as your oncologist and hematologist, you will never regret it.

From the kind, beautiful, ladies that greet you when you enter the clinic, to the perfect, blood gatherers, to the calming amazing group in the treatment area, it amazes me how they hired such an incredible, perfect, little family all in one place. This 'Family' is beyond a safe haven.
