Dr. Sun reviewed my records before he came in. He answered all my questions and also asked me questions to determine the best approach to my issues. This was delivered with kindness and expertise! He should be training other doctors in bedside manner!!

Unfortunately, when I started seeing him he was, I thought, very good. However, he really has changed my opinion after several years. Everyone is allowed to make an error in judgment but this man has really has shown a lack of expertise and he does not do his own endoscopies leaving you in the hands of a doctor who is not very well respected by me or those in the medical field. I've changed my insurance and will go back to a doctor whom I like but had to drop because of insurance.

I have been seeing Dr Sun for over 10 years for Crohn's disease and related issues. When I am going through a flare or other issues, Dr Sun will call me with test results at 8pm just to ensure I get answers ASAP. He never rushes through appointments, gives me options, returns calls and works with my other doctors (dermatologist, gynecologist, etc.) to figure out best treatment options. Dr Sun and staff are Awesome!

I have had abdominal pain for over a year and other doctors weren't able to help me. I had a gastroenterologist tell me that I needed a colonoscopy even though I had one a few years ago. I went ahead and as I thought everything was ok. He then told me I had IBS which I didn't have because I knew that I didn't have the symptoms of IBS. Dr. Sun sat and talked with me without a computer in front of him and LISTENED to me! The med he put me on has helped- what an AMAZING DOCTOR!! Thank you Dr!

Dr Sun is very personable and approachable. He was open to additional blood tests when I requested them. The problem was that even though I did not experience pain when he applied pressure to my abdomen, that does not mean there is not a problem. He prescribed medications with serious side effects for my secondary symptoms only. He cleared the blood tests though there were some numbers out of range. Wasn’t familiar with fungal overgrowth in the gut.

I've had numerous GI doctors since I was a child and Dr. Sun was the best by far. He genuinely cares and his advice did wonders for me. I'm nearly middle-aged and didn't think I had any hope, but now my liver function is completely normal and my intestines are actually healing. I had been resigned to a shorter lifespan, but now I think I can do a lot better than that. :)
