Dr Torkelson has been my Cardiologist for the past 10 years. I began with him while at DHC. He provides a balance of lifestyle education and improvement with modern drug based medicine. He takes the time to understand the whole patient and their daily environment.

I found Dr. Torkelson to be an unhelpful combination of arrogant and dismissive when I talked with him about my cardiac history and concerns. Maybe it's just burn-out? maybe time for him to retire.
