Dr. Andrew Trueblood, MD

Had sharp pain off and on in right shoulder. Met with Dr. Trueblood to confirm that everything was ok with shoulder replacement. x-rays revealed everything correct. Dr Trueblood very professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone with shoulder replacement needs.

After 2 years I am finally getting my surgery from a new surgeon 3 months from first appointment. He refused to do my surgery because my kids couldn't go to my appointments with me. I live alone and more than capable to care for my self

I truly trust Dr. Trueblood when it comes to surgery on my hands. He is the only orthopedic surgeon I will go to. He is very caring and explains everything about your injury and answers all your questions. He has done carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand and ligament repair on my right thumb.

He cares and it’s written all over his face! I would swim a thousand oceans and run a thousand miles to see him for my doctor’s visit. He’s that good. I’ve seen too many that don’t care enough and don’t show that they care enough. I want to say “don’t do this profession unless you can do what it takes”. I stopped seeing patients when I couldn’t do it anymore. So I’m walking my talk. Thank you Dr. TrueBlood. You’re a true gem in this profession.

Visit was to set up surgery for tendon release on left thumb needing relief from pain and trigger fingers.

I saw Dr. Trueblood as a result of a shoulder injury. He diagnosed my injury and using an MRI, explained in terms, I could understand the extent of my injury. His professionalism and demeanor showed me he cared about me as his patient and as a person. After explaining in easy to understand, terms the alternatives, for dealing with my injury, we agreed on a non-surgical plan for me. I expect this plan will allow me to resume most of my pre-injury activities with some adjustments. Should the surgical alternative become necessary in the future I will most certainly be returning to Dr. Trueblood for that surgery. Thank you very much for caring.

Dr. Was Intelligent, proper, and kind!

I have seen MANY Doctors in my lifetime. None of them are close to being as kind and caring as Dr. Trueblood! He listens, he genuinely wants to do what’s best for us! You can’t get any better than that!

Dr. Trueblood did a great job on my hand surgery. I was not sedated. He gave me a block and I literally didn’t feel any pain during the injection of the block.

Every visit at Advanced Orthopedics has been a quick and great experience. Dr. Trueblood is very friendly and has sat down and answered any questions and explained my hand condition with great detail. I highly recommend him to any family and friends.

Friendliest staff I've ever encountered at a medical facility, appt was on time and doctor was thorough albeit could've spent a little more time as I had a couple more questions, all in all I think he was right on with his diagnosis, I would definitely see him again as well as his staff

Very personable and gets right to the point with surgical options

Before I could sit down comfortably my name was called. I got placed in a room and the nurse came in and asked a few questions and said the doctor would be with me shortly. Dr. Trueblood was in the room just a couple minutes later. From reception, to nurses to the doctor, this office runs very well. And Dr. Trueblood takes the time to speak with you and answer any concerns you might have. I love the entire Saint Francis Medical network. So much so that I drive from Farmington to Cape Girardeau to see Dr. Trueblood and have testing & surgeries done at Saint Francis Medical center.

When it comes to doctors, we all know the routine...arrive early, sit in waiting area late, and we're still not happy with the service they provide. Dr. True blood is NOT the typical Dr. He seems to care about your time...AND he's great at what he does! His personality isn't that of your typical provider...but who likes typical anyway!? He gives it to you straight, and to boot...his jokes are funny! Highly recommended. I used him for a partial amputation at the distal philangeal joint.
