Dr. Andrew Yampolsky, DDS

I was basically given this scenario, eventually die from the osteonecrosis of my left jawbone, or get the disease removed, and fixed. Dr. Y removed my jawbone and replaced it with a foot long piece of bone from my right leg, during a complex 12 hour surgery. Hehas been compassionate and kind throughout these two years of healing, and not only have I beaten plasma cell cancer, with a P17 deletion, I have come through the flap surgery with flying colors! I feel as though we were led to the best doc for what ailed me, and I will be eternally grateful. Then, he handed me off to the top prosthodontist in the area, and I should be put back together by Christmas! What a wonderful gift, and Dr. Y is part of that gift. Thank you!

Truly a case of good fortune! I had an accident which pretty much destroyed my left jaw! When.i arrived at Jefferson, Dr Yampolsky was available and immediately started putting this "Humpty Dumpty" back together again! Each time he met with me, or my family, explanations were clear and precise. His "bedside" manner is and was exemplary! Two and one half years and some 10 surgeries later, nary a decerning eye can tell I EVER had a facial issue! Some folks are great designers, some are great athletes. Dr Yampolsky, is a BRILLIANT surgeon with superior people skills!

Dr. Yampolsky recently treated me for my Ameloblastoma. Even through his busy schedule, he made time for my family and I to educate us on the condition, go over the treatment plan and long term consequences. After meeting with him for the first time, we realized he was the best doctor in the region to get my surgery done. He had performed facial reconstructive surgery, and bone grafting from my leg. Unlike many other doctors, he is genuine, highly professional, and caring. Most importantly he never failed to follow up with his patients even months after the surgery. I would highly recommend him to anyone who would need to have any kind of reconstructive surgery especially tumor reconstruction done. With no doubt, Dr. Yampolsky is the best doctor you would find in the area.

His background as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, as well as his additional fellowship training in microvascular and reconstructive surgery made him our first choice.
