Highly recommend
I have been seeing Dr. Barnes for almost 10 years. She listens without judgment and has offered me sound advice on various issues throughout the years I’ve seen her. She was incredibly compassionate and helpful when I was diagnosed with clinical depression, has helped me prepare for two major surgeries, and has overseen my care when I struggled with COVID and RSV. I recommend Dr. Barnes without hesitation.

Rude and Dismissive
I recently had a horrible and disappointing experience with Dr. Barnes who displayed rudeness and dismissiveness during my visit. Unfortunately, the appointment felt rushed (literally 8 minutes) and I left with concerns about the thoroughness of the assessment(which she never did a physical assessment on me but charted one). It's crucial for healthcare professionals to prioritize patient care, LISTEN to patient complaints instead of ASSUMING, and conduct comprehensive examinations for accurate diagnoses. I’ve never had an experience like this with anyone else in the practice as I have been a patient for over 10 years.

Excellent
Dr. Barnes is very thorough and diligent. I have had several ailments over the years and I always get prompt appointments when I’m not feeling right. Dr. Barnes and her team have always been great. She listens carefully to understand my problems and gets the tests and treatments to help me get better.. She is kind, caring and compassionate. Alway follows up with me as needed. She is very cordial, which is helpful, because I’m not the most outgoing person, she makes me comfortable so that I can tell her of any of my health concerns. She is truly an exceptional doctor.

Unprofessional and disappointing
Would I go to her again? No. Why? I needed help from her and was told she was too busy to address my situation. My concern was serious. I was already informed by the insurance company all I needed was for her is a script for a scan and although not needed it would be helpful for a referral to a specialist. She refused both. Staff was very rude except for one precious nurse who didn't understand what the fuss was about. The last message from this practitioner was she spoke to my insurance and they told her I needed an x-ray. This was false as I had one and I had been in constant contact with the insurance company. At no time did this person call me personally, reach out directly or address my concerns. She no showed twice about this issue on our appointment. This is not how a dr. is to treat anyone period.
