This doctor was extremely unprofessional and rude to my 80 year old mother-in-law who has been having serious gastro issues the past several months. The doctor became furious that my MiL had an appt with another doctor. She said in a very aggravated tone “You came to me in 2020 then went to other doctors and 4 years later you come back here with all these problems?!!! Why are you here?!” She spoke in a very condescending tone like “why are you taking XYZ medicine?!!! You don’t know?!!” (which another doctor had prescribed). Several sarcastic laughs, many exaggerated eye rolls, and 0 helpful advice. We’ve never had such an unprofessional doctor in our lives. I am not one to write reviews like this, but this experience was just too unbelievable to ignore. It was like we were on one of those hidden camera prank tv shows. But sadly, we weren’’t.

Rockstar!
Dr. Fishman is a rockstar. She makes something not fun as easy as possible. Multiple procedures with her, sees me before and after. Informs me of everything going on and explains the hows and whys. I would not go to anyone else. See you in 3 years Doc.

Great doctor
I’m surprised by the negative reviews also. I love Dr. Fishman. I have found her to be warm and personable. I have had 2 colonoscopies and two endoscopies with her with no issues. She has come to explain the results every time. I feel like we have a good doctor-patient relationship.

She doesn't listen, she's condescending, and rude.
My was attempted to be treated by her and it was not successful . My mother was never the same after that. Very sad more than anything else.

Ignored
I have been a patient of Dr. Fishman for over a decade and had only positive feelings about her as a person and professionally. This last time was an entirely different experience. She never spoke with me before or after my procedure. I just felt like a nonentity to her and will never return.

Kind and Caring!
I also don’t understand the negative comments because my experience was very positive and everyone I came in contact with could not have been more professional or compassionate! Dr. Fishman explained everything before the procedure and then came to explain the findings and if I had questions. This is my second time and both times I had no complaints. I highly recommend Dr. Fishman and her staff!!

Thorough and compassionate
I don't understand the bad reviews, other than people tend to leave less favorable reviews over favorable reviews. My experience with Dr. Fishman has been life changing. Dr. Fishman diagnosed my colon cancer and has continued to make sure I stay alive with thorough periodic colonoscopies and removal of pre-cancerous polyps. Her team is A+. I had zero bruising from IV placement. The nurse was that good. The anesthesiologist was very kind and explained what medication he would be using and talked to me as the anesthesia took effect. A colonoscopy is never a pleasant experience, however, I felt that my comfort, dignity and mental well being were important to them. I had no trouble with scheduling. Dr. Fishman was at my bedside when I woke up and gave me verbal results of her findings. I then saw a nurse who explained everything again, gave me something to eat and drink, and I was given a discharge summary with clear instructions. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Do NOT recommend.
Dismissive, unreliable & inattentive. Extremely disappointed in the very little guidance I received from Fishman. She continuously brushed my valid concerns off. I have wasted so much of my time trying to advocate for myself to a doctor who is dismissive. Time is of the essence in healthcare and I’m sorely disappointed that I didn’t leave her sooner. I’ve been dealing with a lot of discomfort. It could have been solved many, many months ago had Dr Fishman simply taken the time to do her job properly. Save yourself time and aggravation by looking elsewhere.

I went to Dr Fishman in hopes of figuring out my health issues. She was nice but ended up telling me I had a good grasp on what I could and couldn't eat when I specifically went there to find out what was wrong because everything I ate bothered me. They wanted to do a endoscopy and colonoscopy on me to find out what was wrong so we booked it. A month out I get two different calls with two completely different answers about why they need to move the appt out for another month. The next day I receive another call to move my follow up appt as well. A week later I get ANOTHER call to move my procedure again. I have now been not able to eat normally for three full months and have lost 40 unexplainable pounds. I have had to move my days off multiple times and when I expressed my concern to the secretary on the phone she actually gave me an attitude about it. I'msorry to say but I will be finding another doctor and another office because it does not feel like this office cares for their patie

She did not listen to me when I was explaining my concerns and stress factor of having an ulcerative colitis. Her response to my continuious calls were met with take Pepto Bismal for my problems. Well, after about eight (8) months of this treatment, i ended up in the hospital for ten (10) days for being treated poorly by her and her staff. Obviously, I changed gastro doctor. Extremely, happy now and on the road to recovery.
