Compassionate and very caring
I have been a patient of Dr. Hawkes for a couple of years. From my first visit I have experienced nothing but compassion and caring. Dr. Hawkes has listened to my fears and concerns and offered hope. She asked about my life goals to live as healthy as possible and she is helping me to achieve them. I am thankful she is my doctor.

No compassion & 0 empathy 4 patient. God complex!!
Dr. Hawkes addresses you in a slightly demeaning way as if she is in every way well above you or more worthy than you. She is not a caring person or doctor at all!!! This education/job decision for her was definitely only about the pay check and not about caring for other and she makes this very obvious as does her entire staff!!!!!

I had the worst experience in trying to use Dr Hawkins. Had to get another Dr involved to get her to do her job. I have heard from someone else who had similar problems. Thank goodness I was able to get in to see another provider. They saved me from long term disability or death.

I have seen several rheumatologists, and find Dr. Hawkes as thorough and caring as any , and better than some. She takes time to know me, and to explain all options and the side effects. The entire office staff treats me like someone special.

In concert with her very knowledgeable PA, Erin Gray, she is determining the extend that the inflammation in my hands (and deformed foot) has with rheumatoid arthritis. This doctor and PA, along with the practice of Greensboro Medical Associates, is a good combination for rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis. I highly recommend the practice, Dr. Hawkes, and PA Gray.
