She laughed at my symptoms
I have been looking for answers to my condition for a year, going from doctor to doctor. My neurologist referred me to Dr. Angela Lewis as a specialist in neuro-ophthalmology. The first doctor I saw at this establishment took my condition seriously. However, when he brought Dr. Lewis in as the final check and I explained my symptoms (again) to her, she laughed and said, 'I've never heard of that before.' Yeah, no ish Sherlock. Neither has any other doctor that passed me along. She acted as if I was lying. Do you honestly think anyone would spend this much money, PTO from a job, and going around to doctors to get LAUGHED at? Just because SHE has never heard of something, does not mean it would never, or has never, existed. A simple, 'I don't know' would have sufficed. But I guess she couldn't say she didn't know something in front of the doctor shadowing her. This condition has ruined my mental health and career. Seeing this doctor did not help.

Dr Angela Lewis is phenomenal. I served 21 years in the military and she is the only eye Doctor that correctly diagnosed my condition related to Gulf War Illness. Thanks to her I will have a fighting chance of not going blind. I've seen eye Doctors in Florida, Italy, Bahrain, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Illinois and Dr Lewis was the only one committed to properly diagnosing my chronic unexplained eye illness. Thank you for your service in the field of ophthalmology you are a blessing.

I give her five stars. I have been very satisfied with her (I have had three successful operations done by her). If it is not within her expertise, she will send you to another excellent physician. Everything was perfect. She's polite and caring. Before surgery, I was very cold and she compassionately gave me a sweater. She is an accomplished ophthalmologist and I recommend her highly!

Without a question the rudest doctor I've ever met..She is very arrogant and condescending with very little care for her patients..I lost peripheral vision in my right eye and she just laughed it off as if I just made it up.I paid 285 dollars to go to the ophthalmologists because I opt out of our vision insurance and I expect a much higher level of compassion and care when I go to the doctor.I will NEVER go to this doctor again because of her terrible bedside manner. She left a lot to be desired!

Was not happy at all. I took my son for his kindergarten check. I thought she was rude to me and my child. She did not answer my questions, tell me what she was doing, and just hurried along. She didn’t even talk to me about it when done. I was so mad, i just grabbed his paper and left. I will not be going back to her.

Totally un-caring and discouraging. If we had not persisted to find other solutions, my husband would never be driving again. She was a total shutdown. Definitely stay away.
