I'm in my mid-50s and Dr. Marhshall-Olson is the best PCP I've ever had. She's super-smart and well-informed, attentive to all of my needs, poses good questions I had not considered, and always is helpful in providing treatments or suggesting things that could keep me as healthy as possible. I actually look forward to taking with her (and the rest of the staff on the team) at my annual checkups. I can't say that about any of my past PCPs! She also takes a holistic view of my healthcare, asking about both physical and mental health, which I appreciate. She's a stellar doctor and I'd be glad to recommend her to family and close friends. I cannot speak highly enough of her.

Dr. Marshall-Olsen is so wonderful and I'm so grateful to have her as a physician. She is kind, thoughtful, extremely knowledgable and a fantastic communicator. Her nurse is also fantastic and they are both a pleasure to be around.

Not the best
I waited a long time to get in to see a new PCP after mine retired. Dr Olson presented as if she understood and sympathized my existing health conditions but was unsupportive. When I noticed a medication wasn’t working, it took multiple phone calls and emails to get an answer over a month later. The answer was dismissive and ignored any information I had given her about my condition. It’s disappointing to not feel supported or that preventative care is of importance.

Extremely intelligent, caring, great communicator
Dr. Marshall Olson is a truly phenomenal doctor. It is so great to have a PCP who is dedicated to compassionate, thorough, and high quality patient care. She is dedicated to doing what is right, and I trust her completely. With so many primary care doctors leaving practices, it is so nice to have a physician who is working so hard to continue to take top-notch care of patients, with an open mind and heart. I know many, many of her patients as well, and we are so grateful to have her devoted to our health and well-being.

It took her weeks to review test results which revealed an infection. From there it went downhill. Horrible bedside/ paitent care.

Fantastic experience
I adore Dr. Olson and her staff. I have had her as my pcp for the last few years and have had nothing but positive experiences. She is empathetic and really takes time to listen to my concerns. In this day and age when docs are spread thin and hardly have give sufficient time to spend one on one with patients I feel like Dr. Olson is really 100% with me during the time we have together. I hope she never retires or any issues arise with my insurance plan.

Fantastic Doctor
Telehealth
Dr Marshall Olson is extremely knowledgeable and a great listener. She listened to my main concerns and most concerning symptoms and instantly started coming up with treatment plans and the most strategic ways to start tackling things. She also gave me space to talk and didn’t rush me or invalidate me, which I have experienced many times. I also felt that I could trust her treatment plan because she explains very clearly and thoroughly her thought process behind why she feels it will be help. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great Dr.

Horrible.
Dr. Angela Marshall Olson refused to refer me to treatment for my iron deficiency despite current blood work that she ordered and many years of medical records from past providers documenting my diagnosis and treatments that are proven effective for me. She wouldn't respond to my questions via online portal (even though this is a service offered) so I'd follow up periodically. When she finally wrote back it was not to address my questions but to tell me that I was wasting everyone's time by following up on the lack of response. she went as far as to say that it's 'hostile' to email more than once. When I sought a 2nd opinion on referral, she cancelled my much needed EKG and removed me from her practice. She did not even tell me she was doing this. I found out when I was sick and trying to schedule an appointment. It's been a few weeks now and I do not have any medical care because of the wreckless actions of this doctor. It took 1.5 years to get a PCP in Portland and she does not care.

Excellent!
I have been a patient of Dr. Marshall-Olson for many years. She listens and help provide answers. She is very thorough. The best thing is that she is so easy to talk to and really listens. You never feel rushed with her. She takes her time to make sure she has covered everything!

Terrible
Have called on multiple occasions with questions for the Dr. or for her nurse and received no response. I shouldn't have to call back repeatedly and ask the same question only to hear nothing. Each time I call front desk acts like its the first time I've called and has no record of it. Even tried emailing through the portal and finally got a response after almost a week.

Dr. AMO is the BEST!
