Dr. Angela Powell, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Powell for 25 years. She has been there through numerous joys and tragedies in my life. She was always interested in both and how that affected me. This Dr. has a beautiful soul, and God has given her a gift to help people. She cares, she listens, and she will help you any way she can. I feel she has been the best Dr. I have ever had. Everybody has their own ability to 'click' with whomever makes them feel connected and safe in their medical care, but all I can say is , she has been good to me and taken good care of me and my family.

I have been going to this practice since I was a child, and I can count on one hand how many times I’ve seen Dr.Powell. She’s never there no matter when I go, and if I request to see her she’s never available. Although Chantel is helpful, I would actually prefer to see my Dr when I’m going through something dire. They’re closed almost every other week for reasons that can’t be explained, and the receptionist NEVER picks up the phone. Ever. I am highly disappointed.

A caring doctor that LISTENS to patient needs and tries (within the State and Federal laws) to do her very best for her patients. Empathetic and caring, yet straightforward and no-nonsense attitude with a kind disposition. Also, stays on call most days delivering babies. My wife uses her and I was looking for a doctor close to home to combine my 2 doctors who were over 100 miles away. Dr. Powell fit the bill perfectly. She accepts most insurance (VIVA Healthcare excluded, due to VIVA's coverage area)

I Absolutely Recommend Dr. Powell to any one looking for a Dr. that Listens to you, does not rush through your visit with her, will do everything possible to help you with whatever problem you are experiencing. She is just an All around Wonderful Dr. she cares for her Patients, she Loves helping, she Loves her job. I could write a Book about her Goodness.

Hard to get in if your sick, staff was rude and brushed off sickness as if they could care less about their patients. Didn't really address symptoms rushed to a conclusion ignoring other pertinent information.

Tried to coerce and guilt me into giving my child a flu shot. It's recommended but IS NOT required. Plus cdc says it's only 40-60% effective in preventing the flu. This is where I would insert an ugly word!

She is the most caring & understanding Doctor that I've ever met! I've used Dr Powell for almost 20 years. I would highly recommend her! -Millie

Dr. Powell is my doctor throughout my pregnancy. She was my baby doctor. She is really sweet, will help you with anything you need help with, will answer your questions. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Thanks Dr.Powell for being a great kind hearted doctor. I can not wait to see my baby when it gets here!! Anna Hamric :)

She's a competent doctor but that doesn't really matter when they're swamped. It's impossible to see her and you're going to have very long wait times. No exaggeration I waited THREE HOURS for my last appointment. It's a nightmare.
