A+ Physician
Over the past 16+ years I was thoroughly satisfied with the care I received. Her ability to listen without rushing was excellent. She addressed all my healthcare issues and concerns. There was never a time when she entered the exam room without greeting you with a smile. Dr.Angela will be greatly missed.

Dr. Angela Prakash-Griffin
Dr Griffin is no longer at 2801 N. Decatur Rd. I am sad about that. She is a wonderful primary care physician. I would like to know if she is still practicing in Georgia, if so, what is her contact info. Does anyone know?

I rarely do these reviews but I was online searching for a specialist and thought I'd do a review about my primary care doctor, Dr Prakash Griffin. She is great. I've been seeing her for 4 years and she is always friendly and very thorough. She seemed very young when I first met her but as time went on, she took all of my medical concerns seriously and made recommendations that were really helpful. She answers questions online thru the portal and that's helpful too. I have a heart condition and one day I had several questions about my lab results and concerns I had, and she patiently answered all of them. I never feel rushed with her. I'm honestly not a big Emory fan, some of the specialists are somewhat snooty but she's always been a good doctor and I don't mind driving 30 miles to see her. Well I DO mind but I do it anyway. I was frankly surprised at some of the reviews. My advice is to visit her and see what you think. If any doctor is not right for you, you'll know it.

bad experience. depriving patient of crucial psychiatric and thyroid functioning drugs over long holiday weekend. I no longer trust her with my care. she has shown reckless abandon and neglect of her patients medical needs. she tarnishes emory's shiny reputation. if you have ongoing prescription needs find another doctor because this one will fail you.

Dr. Prakash-Griffin is nice enough and seems to be knowledgeable; however, the office is horrible. I had a very difficult time receiving authorization (never was able to even get an answer...no response) for a prescription refill on blood pressure medicine. After calls from the pharmacy, me and an email, I still received no response and had to find another doctor to maintain the prescription. I was very disappointed with the service provided by Emory doctors.

If you have GOOD insurance (meaning you're not receiving Medicare/Medicaid), she's probably a great doctor for you. If, like me, you're disabled and receive Medicare, well, she's nice enough but she won't do much for you. That's Emory for you, though. They really want patients who have fat wallets. Dr. Prakash is okay, I guess. She seems preoccupied with her personal life or something, not as interested in helping one with medical concerns. And she doesn't care about follow-up, either.
