This was my first and last visit. She was not friendly. She listened to my problem. Suggest a medicine and scooted out of the exam room in literally five minutes. Hadnt a chance to discuss or ask her any questions

Arrogant and Dismissive
I was having wrist pain, requested an xray and she posted my results as being normal. Months later I am still have wrist pain and she refers me to an Orthopedic specialist, I asked him to look over my xray for a second opinion and it is an avulsion fracture. I was having back issues, went to Riccio for an xray, she again stated my xray was normal on the portal. I asked the orthopedic Dr if he could also review that xray while seeing him for my wrist. I have scoliosis. Fast forward to now, the patient portal advised me to schedule an appointment for a cervical cancer screening three months ago, I did. Went in for my appointment, let her know my throat has been sore with my voice going hoarse for about a month with negative strep swabs, she doesn’t even examine it. She wraps up the appointment and steps out and I ask her if it’s over. She says yes. So I’m confused as to why I never received my cervical cancer screening, I ask and she had no idea that is what I was there for. no screen

The best ! Highly recommend
I have been with Dr.Riccio for a few years and she is nothing short of amazing . She listens, she doesn’t rush the appointment, she brainstorms with you on unknown problems, if she isn’t sure she will research, fast with refills, she is the only doctor that listens to me and takes me serious, works with you on medicines, open to your own opinions and thoughts, fears, etc. Also, if it weren’t for her, my gallbladder would have either busted or I would still be in pain from it, she checked it when my own gastro didn’t even think to check! She has helped me and guided me through each step I have taken to get better. 10 out of 10 recommend ! The bad reviews are probably people with bad attitudes themselves , and are hostile to begin with. She has never been condescending, rude, brass or anything bad written in other reviews.

Really great representation of drs
With all due respect this doctor doesn't listen to anything, it blows my mind how much effort I have to put into getting her to show any concern. She doesn't order exams requested, specifically blood tests for various issues. She ignores results, I'm sitting at a doctors office right now expecting to be here for a specific issue, this office wasn't even aware that's why I'm here. She ignores serious concerns and thinks she knows everything. She's condescending, only reason I'm staying with her is because of how hard it is to find a new one but her ignorance and inability to listen to a patient in distress is pretty discouraging. Doctors are supposed to help people and I genuinely feel like she offers very little of that for me. I don't even understand how she got through medical school. I feel bad for any patients of hers dealing with similar issues

Very thorough
I started seeing Dr. Riccio when I moved to the area. She has been very thorough in our meetings and has even reached out to me on her own for follow up. I have had no issues with her renewing my medications from other doctors. She is a DO so I expect and look forward to working with her on other alternatives to my current medication list.

It is her way or the high way! She is a control freak. I gave her a year as she is a new doctor. She is insensitive and inflexable. When she refused to renew my Rx for diabetic test strips because she feels they are not needed since I am "well controlled",that was the final straw. I DO want to know what my blood sugar is. She thinks I don't need to since SHE checks the A1c and is happy with it. I was a 6 A1c and she changed my meds so it is now a 7 A1c which she feels is good enough! It is damaging. I want to go back to a 6A1c and there are advanced heart doctors that explain why one should strive for blood sugar level of 100. She wouldn't consider the science behind this. It is MY BODY and my choices, not hers. Am changlng to a different doctor with my next visit. She is one of the offensive group of young ladies with a rigid selfish sense of entitletment and importance. Boo! And she is a total source of stress. Zero bed side manner.

Dissapointed patient – Feb 17, 2022

In all of my 78 years I have never been so disrespected by what is supposed to be a medical professional. She does not listen to your needs. It is all about her and what a bad day she is having and blamed me for adding to her bad day. She will try to impose her osteopathic beliefs on you and will refuse to issue refills for meds that other doctors have prescribed. These doctors are from some of the best medical institutions in the nation. Her reply to this was they should be arrested by the DEA. Emory medical school was not happy to hear such a statement. She terminated our visit by storming out the door and saying she had to get away from me. This is a much longer story but I would exceed the max. characters, but I think you get the point. The one star rating far exceeds what she deserves.

She didn't seem to listen to me as much as she listened to herself. I am a nurse with over 15 years of experience. She didn't seem extremely well versed on the medications she was considering prescribing to me, and I felt slightly patronized by her tone and demeanor. I do not like writing negative reviews, and she isn't bad, she just isn't for me. I will not be back, and I would not recommend.
