Dr. Angela Sturdivant, MD

We love Dr. Sturdivant. She's an awesome PCP, BUT......It's not just worth going there anymore. Her current location BY FAR has the most INCOMPETENT administration and staff I have ever witnessed in my 66 years. I believe that they have put my wife's and myself's health at risk more than once . Not to mention the admin staff is generally rude and makes stupid mistake on the simplest of duties. RECENT EXMPLE- they had to send a referral to a specialist and it took them 8 tries to send a referral but continued to not check if the fax went thru. And to make matters worse, the referral they kept sending was for the wrong diagnosis.... I could go on and on.... but, just find another office

Angela is wonderful, I love her so much! Never have I encountered a doctor who is so sensitive and caring, she treats me like a member of her own family. She always makes sure I am well and that I get the care I need. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a PCP, she is the absolute best! I am just so grateful that I found her.

I would just like to say she has been the absolutely the best doctor I have had. She is very patient understanding, caring, and knowledgeable. I had her with another plan and made a point to change my Healthcare Plan to ensure that I can see her.

She treats the whole person

I had actually seen Dr. Sturdivant years ago when she was with another medical group. I missed her when she left and actually searched for her and found her at Abrazo. I immediately switched to Abrazo and specifically Dr. Sturdivant and am so glad I found her again. I have referred several family members and friends to her. A co-worker just established herself as a new patient with Dr. Sturdivant and had her physical today. She texted me immediately afterwards to say "she is awesome!"

Wants to run EVERY test and refer you to EVERY Dr. under the sun. Out to make money for the Abrazo Group. She doesn't even ask you what your problems are, just Assumes. WON'T be going back

I have to change this doctor because of lack professional knowledge. She was prescribing me the pills which are TOTALLY unrelated to the issue I have to address regarding my passed condition. I never received any helpful advise from her.

She is very caring & listens to the patient, not like other Doctors that are pushing you out of the room.

I had my first visit with Dr. Sturdivant recently and she is a very smart and caring physician. She listened intently and suggested a change in my medication which has already improved my overall health. If you are looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable physician, go to Dr. Valerie Sturdivant. The office on Dysart is beautiful, well organized, and state of the art. They even have a dedicated laboratory so you don't have to go elsewhere for tests and your results are available sooner.

I love Dr.Sturdivant!!!She is so easy to talk to and there is no problem so big that she is not willing to help with. I was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2013.
