Disappointed to say the least...
I went to Dr. Pollack to follow up on a pituitary growth that had been discovered a few years ago by another provider. I recently had an MRI done and was referred to see her to discuss the findings, as well as new and worsening symptoms. We spent over 2 hrs at the office and less than 10 mins of those were spent speaking with her. She did not have MRI results I had from 3 years ago, was extremely dismissive, and made my husband and I feel as though the entire appt was useless. She even claimed the mass on my pituitary had not grown and basically waved everything I said away, told me to get some bloodwork done, come back for another MRI in another year or two, and she felt nothing was wrong. So, we decided to see a different provider last week. He confirmed the growth HAD grown by 1.5mm, ordered much more specific bloodwork, provided us with an endocrinologist referral, spent a half hour talking with us, and told us they would do anything they could to help. Super different experience!

Ania is so professional, supportive and gifted. I had gone to her at MVH prepared to die and she removed a large fist sized tumor from my frontal lobe. My family (of educated nurses) were beyond scared and rightfully so. Dr Pollack and her staff explained everything thoroughly and we knew the uphill battle we faced, as did she. I will be forever grateful that I was brought to her and her team at Premier. Sometimes your life depends on it and she saved mine. Thank you Anita. Your flamingo ?? patient, fan and friend.

I have been a glioblastoma patient of Dr. Pollack's for nearly three years. Her surgical skills are excellent and quality of care/treatment is commensurate with top brain cancer centers in the nation. We are lucky to have her here in Dayton, Ohio. Her nurse Nancy goes above and beyond to ensure patient needs are met.

Dr. Pollack is an absolutely amazing wonderful person! She performs miracles. She performed a surgical procedure on my sisters brain with a perfectly precise incision. Had it not been for the staples that were also perfectly inserted you wouldn't even know the incision was there at all! she is compassionate and cares deeply for her patients. Dr. Pollack is truly devoted to what she does and takes the time she needs to do the job right. I would recommend her to anyone who needs neurosurgery.

I called Dr. Ania Pollack's oncology nurse Mrs. Jons for an oncology brain tumor follow up, and she said that Dr. Pollack can take me as a new patient. I transferred all of my medical records to her office, and waited two months for the appointment, and payed for the consultation. I saw Dr. Pollack at S MVH, and she said "Sorry I do follow up oncology' only for my patients". This made me feel down, and disappointed, escpecially with my severe health condition. Medicene is a field of mercy.
