Competent and Conscientious
Simply put, Dr. Faherty's intervention steered me to a more healthy lifestyle and probably saved my life. Her systematic approach with testing, diagnosis, and remedial counsel - culminating with a catheterization and stents - preempted what was almost certainly a heart attack in my future. And importantly, all was done with a genuine, personal care. I will continue to use her as my cardiologist and fervently recommend her to any reader looking for same.

Best Cardiologist – Saved My Mom’s Life Twice
For nearly a decade, Dr. Faherty has been an incredible source of care and support for my mom, who battled a pericardial effusion that led to two life-saving surgeries. Thanks to Dr. Faherty’s expertise and dedication, my mom’s heart is now fully functional, and we are beyond grateful for the exceptional care she received. Dr. Faherty and her assistant, Fallon, have consistently demonstrated professionalism, respect, and genuine empathy throughout this entire journey. Their unwavering commitment to my mom’s health has made a profound difference in our lives, and we couldn’t be more thankful.

What a terrible experience I had with Dr Faherty at this practice. I would not recommend this Doctor at all. I saw her twice and on my third visit she came into the room and said she was sending me to another Cardio group because I couldn't afford to do the tests she wanted me to do. How sad is that. Instead of building up a huge bill I let her know ahead of time I would have to put money aside before doing the tests. I understood that without the tests her ability to treat me was limited but I needed some time to put the money aside. Obviously Dr Faherty didn't care. I wrote and called Dr Mazza who oversees this facility to explain the situation and he never bothered to call me back. Also, I'm unable to get my records back. I wouldn't recommend this Doctor or any in this practice to anyone. No empathy, no warmth just the bottom line, money.

Genuinely cares for her patients
Dr Faherty is the most knowledgeable cardiologist I’ve had. She drives to understand what is going on and gets to the root cause of your issues. After having a triple bypass and two strokes she formulated a theory and sent me for testing. The testing resulted in finding a thrombus in my leg, a pulmonary embolism and a substantial PFO. She drove other specialists to close the PFO, and provide the right course of action for the years to come. Her expertise and diligence saved my life. No other doctor had or would have fought to understand my underling issue. She is an educator to her patients. She is respectful and takes time to answer all questions. She explains everything to you and makes sure you understand everything about your condition and treatment.Prior to my visit she reviews my test and records, and has a plan of care for me. I am not just a number to her. She knows me and genuinely cares about me.Can’t thank her enough for helping me through a very difficult time.

Highly recommend
I started seeing Dr. Faherty in Sept 2022 after experiencing discomfort and concern from recurring Tachycardia and pre-atrial contractions. She dove right in to rule out any underlying causes and then helped me understand how to manage and treat the root cause. She taught me techniques and lifestyle changes to reduce tachycardia episodes as well. She also listened to my concerns and ordered a month long monitor just to be safe and confirm nothing was going undetected with my heart rhythm. I felt very validated through my experience as her patient, highly recommended!

One of the best physicians I have ever had.
I have been struggling with my health for almost two years. Dr. Peter-Faherty has been instrumental in not only helping me to recover, but pushing other physicians along in diagnosing what is wrong. She has made valuable recommendations for the physicians I should be seeing and who should be handling my health care. She has taken charge when others did nothing but shrug their shoulders. She has explained to me things my pulmonologist should have explained and instructed me on. She educates me about what is happening to me and why she is recommending a particular course of action. Dr. Faherty listens to me. She hears me. I cannot thank her enough for what she has and continues to do for me. I have taken every piece of advice and done everything she has advised (well, I haven't lost any weight yet...). I highly recommend Dr. Peter-Faherty. I count her as one of the best physicians I have ever had.

Both my husband and myself are patients of Dr. Rita Peter- Faherty. We have found her office staff very friendly, helpful and kind. The atmosphere in the office is busy yet very calm. Dr. Faherty clearly explains our health conditions and treatments to us. Her manner has always been compassionate and from the first visit, we feel secure that she is highly competent. We recommend her without reservation.

I agree with rude staff, and that the doctor is abrasive. I saw her once 7 years ago and didn't like her then. Didn't even realize it was the same doctor until she commented that I had been in the office previously. I still find her condescending and rushed. Had to remind the nurse doing my EKG that masks are worn over the nose as well, even with signs everywhere in the office for patients. Receptionist let me stand waiting at the window for almost 5 minutes without any acknowledgement, facing my direction. "I'll be with you in a moment" isn't hard to say. Not impressed with the doctor or staff.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DR. She is rude and condescending. She has no bedside manor and does not listen to patient. She leaves doors to examining rooms open so everyone can hear what is going on with other patients. She is rude to her staff and then they are rude to patients. Go to anyone else, she is too full of herself to give good care let alone great care. I'd give negative stars if I could.

Dr. Rita saved my life...twice. She is both caring and forthright...exactly what anyone should want in a gifted, gentle and honest physician. I, with great anxiety due to COVID, had my most recent visit today. The staff was beyond wonderful, kind and helpful. The echo technician was simply fantastic. Thank you all for what you do to help like myself!

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ALLOW YOUR LOVED ONE TO GO TO THIS OFFICE. This doctor lies about alternate drugs to coumadin. You don't need this, there are alternatives like Eliquis that don't require monitoring. The staff is exceptionally rude and purposely unhelpful and often insulting and callous. No matter how far you have to drive, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I have been seeing Dr. Faherty for several years and I am still alive to write this review, that has got to mean something. People reviewing here complain about the wait time, and at the same time complain that the Doctor and staff are not personable. These people are here to do a job, not be your friend, so I get it if they are tired of listening to everyone complaining about unrelated issues. If I am waiting for an hour, it is likely because the patients won't shut up or the doctor has an emergency. That said, I chit chat a lot too and everyone there has never been anything less than exceptionally nice to me. They give me the meds I need, check they are working right every 6 months, and offer other options for treatment if I need more aggressive care in the future. Dr. Faherty did scare the freakin' heck out of me once about the consequences of continuing drinking alcohol and the likeliness of a stroke. Sober and no caffeine for 14 months now! 5 Stars!
