Dr. Anita Sloan-Garcia, MD

I see Dr. Sloan outside of options offered by my insurance plan. That means I pay out-of-pocket to see her. I have never had a doctor that will spend more time with me during a visit and be so thorough, thoughtful, and considerate in the care she gives. She literally saved my life several years ago as I was experiencing delays in receiving care for a heart condition. She helped me to get in to see a specialist and I ended up needing to have two stents placed into my heart. I see her for help in managing my diabetes and she is acutely aware of the latest medications and treatment options. I highly recommend her.

At first I thought she was great, until she created her new annual plans during covid no less. I don't need to spend that much for care I don't require at this time. She told me I would have to find a new doctor, since I didn't want to sign up. So disappointing. It seems to be all about the money, not the patient.

Dr. Sloan Garcia is very well informed regarding diabetes and is able to integrate my list of medications, personal situation and current thinking on treatment of Type II Diabetes extremely well. She is personable and I feel she is genuinely interested in patient well being and care. I highly recommend her!

Awful endocrinologist. Promises better care due to her micro practice. That just means she doesn't have the hassle of insurance and a corporation telling her what to do. She just gets to pocket more money. 270 bucks for an evaluation that my primary care doc could have done better. She doesn't seem to actually use her education to interpret results either. Go to her if you want to be told "think happy thoughts and let your body fix itself"....

Dr. Sloan is genuine she doesn’t pretend to care about a patient. She makes sure you understand the ‘what’ and ‘why’s’ about your regimen. I would highly recommend Dr. Sloan to any diabetic person needed a great doctor.

This endocrinologist is the standard other doctors should be judged by. She and her entire staff have gone well over and above requirements to get the best information and the best resources for their patients.

My experience with Dr. Sloan was positive one. She is personable, explains conditions in a clear and precise way. I would definitely refer her to those in need of an Endocrinologist. My wait time was 5 minutes or less. She took the time to answer all my questions, I never felt rushed. She is top notch in my opinion.
