Dr. Anjali Nemawarkar, MD

I have never been treated in such a dismissive, disrespectful way by a 'doctor'. I would not send my worst enemy to her. She stopped a medication I've been on since 2017 without explanation, which is the main reason I'm in a wheelchair now. She focused on a singular lab value to the detriment of a complaint that landed me in the emergency room where a competent cardiologist diagnosed me and is taking care of that condition. She did not ever document I made complaints regarding this and refuses to accept the diagnosis or correctly refer me to the specialist that the cardiologist recommended to me. That specialist requires that the new diagnosis be on the paperwork, and she won't do it.She gets refills wrong constantly. All she has to do is check boxes and still she makes mistakes and then wonders why when I need refills I use the teledoc my insurance provides.She treated me much more competently when I brought a male with me. Even my 16yo son sufficed.

Dr. N is concerned, thorough, courteous, and a good listener. She considers all information before determining actions. She doesn’t just throw drugs or unnecessary tests at you and doesn’t hesitate to give referral to specialist when needed. Have been seeing in her for years.

Extremely slow with referrals, ordering tests, ordering medications and answering patient portal questions. Outrageous office visit charges.

Dr. Nemawarkar is very concerned about providing the best care. She takes the time to review her patient's individual needs and recommend the best course of treatment. She always remembers me even if it has been more than a year between visits. I like her very much.

Worthless dose not believe in pain Meds

Dr. Newmawarkar is an excellent physician, well known and respected by doctors and other specialists throughout Austin as well as by patients. She is very thorough, efficient and knowledgeable but also a good listener. She is kind and understanding, , and offers the patient the kind of support s/he needs.

My specialized doctor was not willing to fill out my FMLA paperwork and she filled it out within five minutes. I was extremely grateful and she was able to refer me to a better specialized doctor.

She spends all the time needed with you carefuly answering every question you have. If you have a condition she does not treat, she does not hesitate to refer you to another doctor

I love Dr. Nemawarkar! She is me and my husbands Doctor for some years now. Dr. Nemawarkar is a very good doctor. She listens and makes sure you are taken care of. She manages my type 2 diabetes perfectly. Lots of prayer and good doctor has me in really great shape. NO INSULIN! Pat her nurse is wonderful!!!!!!! She always calls me back, gets answers I need and takes excellent care of us. Thank you both for all you do.
