Dr. Anjaneyulu Alapati, MD

I took my father to a follow up with this doctor and explained to him that my father continued to have speech issues following what we thought was a ministroke. The doctor was not kind. He was irritated and said “there is nothing wrong with your brain.” And said my father had anxiety and needed therapy. I am a psychologist and well aware of psychogenic causes of cognitive symptoms. But this did not sit right with me. The dr dismissed us with no help or referrals. Unfortunately, it took us seeking a second opinion and then referral to the UAB memory clinic before my father was properly diagnosed with Alzheimers Disease. Do not see this doctor. Go to UAB Neurology instead.

Does not spent very much time explaining patients test results or treatment plan.

Dr alapati is an excellent neurologist from India.He is a great teacher to both post graduates and post doctorial students.He is extraordinary clinical skills to diagnose even rarest diseases in clinical neurology. He is very smart in treating any patient with kindness and compassion. I adore my doctor and friend dr alapati anjaneyulu.

I am a patient of Dr. Alapati, he takes his time and answers my questions and concerns. I am pleased with the service and treatment from Dr. Alapati. I was running late for my appointment, he still took care of me that day.

My father was in NICU. Dr Alapati would not explain to us the results of his tests or the seriousness of my fathers condition. He kept running away and trying to avoid our questions. If it were not for the hospitalist, we would not have received any information.
