No show to appointment, kept waiting for an hour
Telehealth
I was scheduled a 4PM virtual PCP appointment on a Friday to refill a medication I've been taking for the last six years with no side effect whatsoever. The clinic told me it needed MD approval. I showed up for my appointment and proceeded to wait for an entire hour. I called the clinic a couple times during this period and got the runaround each time. Twice a medical assistant told me the doctor would be joining the Zoom link, 'in ten minutes.' But ten minutes went by and she never showed up. After an hour I hung up. The PCP was a no show. Terrible provider and clinic.UPDATE: After this debacle I went to Hers and got my medication approved in less than five minutes! As expected (I told the clinic this multiple times), an MD was NOT required to fill this prescription. An NP was able to. This medication is now getting shipped to my doorstep via Hers (thank you!).
