I was desperate to see a dermatologist and after calling several places, I was able to get an appointment quickly with Dr. Eldridge. I had read all the horrible reviews of her online but thought how bad could she be, right? Oh. My. She could be a character in an episode of Seinfeld. I arrived 8 minutes late for the appointment which was completely my fault. I understand how inconvenient that is for the provider when a patient is late and 100% own that. As I was about to walk in the door (8 minutes past my appointment time) a woman and dog walked out brushed past me and said very abrasively “you need to reschedule”. She did not even look at me, and just kept walking. I explained that I was incredibly sorry, and asked if there was any way possible she could still take me today. I said that my husband was waiting in the car with our newborn and 2 year old, and anything she could do would be appreciated. Dr. Eldridge’s response was “that’s not MY problem”.

What This doctor dismissed as a bump was Later diagnosed as squamous cell carcinoma. First told to put a band aid on it. When called two weeks later that there was no change was told you don’t have to keep a band aid on it. Very disappointing and galling lack of regard.

This was my second visit with Dr. Eldridge (the first was about 15 years ago!). Very competent, friendly, and pleasant. Will be going back in two weeks to have here surgically remove a small annoying growth on my back (not enough time to do that today).
