Terrible doctor!!!
Rude, arrogant with a lack of respect for her patients and liar. She operated on my left eye in 2019 after I had retinal detachment incident. Her surgery was a failure and caused me to lose my vision in my left eye. She lied to me about the surgery results and kept telling me that my surgery was a success and I'm going to start seeing after the gas bubble starts to decrease. Then, after 5 weeks of severe eye pressure pain and no vision, i went to see another retinal surgeon with Kaiser for second opinion. He did OCT on my eyes and immediately told me that I had lost my vision in my left eye and that I had retinal stroke. She called that afternoon to apologize. She is terrible doctor! Run from her!

Great doctor... First of all, she is the head of the ophthalmology department so is understandably busy. I have more issue with the optometrists in the office. If you present as someone that knows what is happening or engage with her it goes much better...

I had to come to Kaiser because my insurance changed. The other reviews are correct. She is very friendly but explains only the stuff she feels you should know. She had me sign a permission slip without showing me the documents or explaining the bad things that could happen. She turned her screen away and said they will give you a copy. I had laser eye surgery, it was very painful and she refused to give me any sort of pain meds. She also does the whole procedures with only numb drops. OUCH... she does not understand that different people can tolerate pain at different levels. Other retina specialist will give you calming meds before to reduce pain. My eye is killing me and over the counter meds are not helping. If you have a high pain threshold she will be a good doctor for you. She knows her stuff and can get the job done. You will just be in pain after and she won’t care.
