Dr. Ann Lafranca, MD

My wife made an appointment to transition care. When booking appointment, she said she didn't want a pelvic exam. On the day of the appointment, she told the person checking in that she didn't want a pelvic exam. The person checking her in to the exam room tried prepping her for a pap smear which she denied with a rude response. Dr. Lafranca came in and kept persisting on a pelvic exam despite my wife saying she didn't one. My wife relented on the exam because she thought it was a pre operative requirement which was false. Dr Lafranca tried to pap my wife before I intervened. Dr Lafranca has refused my wife's prescription unless she continues to be a patient. Coercion is not consent. Dr. Lafranca performed a pelvic exam without consent. She is the worst provider that my wife has been to. She is only concerned about her process. She does not provide personalized service. Please stay away from her.

My friend is an avid patient of Dr Lafranca. Denied a simple sterilization surgery at 30 years old . Next day she found a doctor an office over who would do it. Do not recommend this doctor

Dr. LaFranca is the best OBGYN. I have been with her for 10 years now. I had my first child when I was still in high school and was terrified having a child so young. She stood by me every step of the way and went above and beyond for me during that time. I don't know if I could have done it without her. Dr. Lafranca will go above and beyond for any of her patients. When Dr. Lafranca walks into the examine room, she is only focused on you and your health. She is able to explain things to where you understand them and is not annoyed if you have a bunch of questions. She does not try to rush you out to go to her next patient. I will never be able to thank Dr. LaFranca enough for all she has done for me and continues to do for me now.

Best experience we ever had. Very attentive, knowledgeable, humble and takes time to listen. She made sure every detail was taken care and made us very comfortable. The only thing was Wait time, but we are fine with it. It's worth the wait. We really love her. She delivered our 2 kids and we are very happy with her

Dr. Lafranca & her staff go above & beyond for their patients! She always takes time for each individual & genuinely cares about each & every one of her patients. The whole group in the office is EXCELLENT, but Dr. Lafranca is my favorite! She is very attentive & always listens to my concerns, no matter how small or trivial they may seem. You'll never feel rushed or like your problems don't matter. Sometimes there's a long wait to see her - BECAUSE SHE'S WORTH WAITING FOR! 5 stars isn't enough!

She has such a great bedside manner. She is very encouraging and empowering. She is very personal and helps you feel confident in yourself. Couldn't be happier with my OBGYN. She is the best in BR!
