She goes above and beyond for our daughter. It?s incredible how one dr can make such a difference in your child?s life. One of my favorite things about our appointments with her is that she takes the time talk to to my daughter, here her thoughts and feelings, and she always ends up making her laugh and feel so comfortable. When we had major struggles, she was so receptive and took our concerns so seriously. We?ve worked with several neurologists in the past, and she is definitely one of our favorites!

She told us that all of my daughter’s problems were in her head and nothing was wrong. After going to Vanderbilt and meeting with QUALIFIED specialist, we find out that she does have several chronic illnesses that are not “all in her head”. She was not pleasant or helpful. She also made my daughter breakdown for three days because she made her feel crazy. We will never go back.

Dr. Kosentka is phenomenal!! She was great with my pretty shy 6 year old-got her talking and giggling! She prescribed medicine, gave us a list of food to avoid and paperwork to track the migraines. When we came back 4 months later, explained we decided to wait on the meds and track the headaches, she was completely receptive! She explained everything very well and answered all questions and concerns patiently in a helpful way. She helped us to understand another piece of the nf1 puzzle.
