Dr. Anna Kundel, MD

Dr Kundel is my endocrine surgeon. Yesterday she removed a diseased parathyroid gland. I was totally at ease under her care and the great team at Valley Hospital in Paramus. Just 24 hours after my surgery, I feel amazing. Minimal discomfort. Such relief knowing that my Primary Parathyroid symptoms will be gone! I was able to eat normally yesterday and can shower today. Slept so well. Dr Kundel is very competent, personable, warm, knowledgable. You're in good hands with her.

Dr Anna Kundel is beyond the best doctor/surgeon…in experience, she has done several surgeries on me, I can’t say enough about her, besides being a wonderful surgeon, she is kind,sweet, beyond intelligent, and a real human being,Don’t even think twice about going to see her

Words cannot express my gratitude to Dr. Kundel and the team.. I have three nodules on my thyroid and had to get a biopsy to rule out cancer. The first biopsy did not produce enough cells to reach a conclusive result so, I had a second set of biopsies . Each time I saw Dr.Kundel, I could tell right from the start, that she is an expert In her field of practice. This put me extremely at ease. Equally impressive, is Dr. Kundel took an incredible amount of time to explain everything that was going on, the possibile outcomes, and made sure she addressed all my questions. Dr. Kundel even had one of her staff call me on a Friday afternoon, 10 days before my office visit to review the biopsy results because she wanted to share the positive news and not have me wait for my office appointment, I know she was as thrilled as I was, about the results. I have dealt with some of the top physicians at the most prestigious, hospitals, all around the world and Dr Kundel is second to none!

I am so happy to have found Dr.Kundel. After extensive research and having seen 3 surgeons in total, I am so happy to say that she was my top choice. Dr .Kundel is very positive, explains everything in clear words and is a caring doctor. Another endocrine surgeon was basically pushing me to remove my entire thyroid due to my condition, but I was adamant that I want to try and save a lobe if possible. She explained the procedure , what technology she uses to locate the vocal cords and why I am a good candidate for a lobectomy versus a thyroidectomy . I am pleased to say that I had my surgery on Monday without any issues. I was discharged about 5 hours post op .It's been 3 days now and I didn't need to take any pain medication at all. That definitely says something about the surgeon's hands . My voice is still a little raspy , but that's definitely expected after being intubated. I am confident that my scar will heal nicely and I'll try to update the review at that time with a photo. Thank you Dr.Kundel for being awesome:)

I went see to Dr. Kundel due to an abnormal nodule on my thyroid. Hearing that you need to have half your thyroid removed because it might be cancerous at the age of 23 is very scary, however, she made my family and I feel at ease. She KNOWS what she is talking about and is very thorough. She made sure we understood all the information given. She removed half of my thyroid last Monday, the surgery went well and I am healing beautifully. Thank you Dr. Kundel and your incredible staff for all that you have done!. Highly recommend her.

Dr. Kundel is smart, compassionate and decisive. I grew to trust her completely. I saw her because of an abnormal thyroid biopsy. She answered my many extensive questions thoroughly. I never felt rushed or dumb for asking the questions that were keeping me up at night. She helped me lay out all the possible options and their possible outcomes. She was easy to talk to. No complications with surgery. I would highly recommend. I found her staff to be just as professional, competent and caring.

Paula came to Dr Kundel with a thyroid problem which needed surgery. The doctor explained all of the options and downsides of each situation. Paula had the surgery and everything went well. We felt we were treated like family by the doctor and all of her staff

I recently had surgery with Dr. Kundel for a parathyroid issue. She was very attentive to my needs and was an excellent provider. She has great bed side manners and was very accommodating. The surgery was successful and no issues with healing afterwards. I had no side effects after the surgery. The parathyroid issue resolved with the surgery and I am very happy with the care she provided.
