Dr. Anna Menze, DO

At 19 I came in for basically an emergency visit. I’d passed out the night before and when I awoke the next morning I couldn’t talk,walk,use my hands or speak properly along eith extreamly weakness on my left side. I was extremely confused and spent most of my time wandering around with a horrific head ache. I went to Menzie in the hopes of getting help since ERs are more expensive. She asked if I knew what day of the week it was (I did as I’d managed to get myself to work that morning and we have to know the day of week for many tasks) and that simple fact , that I knew the day? “ oh you’re fine then” . I was constantly ignored , talked over, and treated like I was an over dramatic child and now even 2 years later I’m still dealing with the stress of medical trauma and the after affects of what we can only assume was a minor stroke. I was put down for head aches and nothing else. I curse her name every day for not helping me. I am in AGONY. And if she sees this,I’ll never forgive you

My wife and I both had long-term chronic conditions when we started with Dr Menze. She has been wonderful for both of us -- taking the time to review our extensive medical records, then listening to us and asking us thoughtful questions about our conditions, history and lifestyles. Together, with her help and recommendations, we have seen significant progress in the management of our chronic conditions, and feel that she actually includes us as part of the "treatment team." We also are very thankful for her inclusion of a team pharmacist to go over our meds, side effects, and benefits. Her entire team takes the time to listen to us, and then collaborate to achieve the best results with us!

Dr. Menze is one of the kindest, most compassionate doctors I have come across. She makes sure you feel heard and understood. Questions are answered to my satisfaction and she and the office staff make sure plans are clear and what the patient desires!

Nothing like being given a diagnosis of COPD by the nurse with no details or chance to ask questions. Dr. Menze should have made this phone call. Extremely tacky and very unprofessional ! If you want to be heard and have your instincts taken seriously - keep moving.
