Dr. Anna Wagner, DO

This doctor was uninterested, unhelpful, and uncaring. I don't go to the doctor's office to make friends. I do expect respect as a patient and a human being. I mentioned nerve pain and she thought I meant nerves as in mood and then it was clarified it was nerve endings, she told me there's nothing that can be done, no tests or imaging to help diagnose, no help, no referral, no medicine, no nothing. She made me feel stupid and belittled. I will never see her again or recommend her or the rude office staff. Worst experience I've ever had. I could tell the second she walked into the room, by the look on her face, that I was a burden and another body to the end of the day.

My mother had a serious infection. She was admitted by emergency with sepsis. As a follow up she continued to have an infection. This 'doctor' couldn't care any less. Do not entrust your health or those of your loved ones with this person. I can't say enough negative comments to demonstrate the worthlessness of this person. Please find better care. It's NOT here.

I concur with other reviews that Dr Wagner's manner and communication with patients is lacking. She is always rushed, lacks empathy, forces her agenda on me without listening to my concerns, and is impatient when I ask questions. She will not do anything or discuss problems and her answer is always to go see someone else (a specialist) for relatively minor issues that other PCPs would address. Basically, she does not care and is annoyed that you asked and does not have time to deal with you. The only reason I have continued to go to her is because she has a nice office at Encompass with the services I need and it is relatively easy to get an appointment with her (probably because patients don't want to see her again). As soon as I can establish care with a better PCP who will listen and treat me with respect I will switch doctors.

Year after year, I have continued to give Dr. Wagner the benefit of the doubt and countless chances to improve. Unfortunately, her care has seemed to decline with each visit. She takes no more than two minutes to “assess” your needs and I often leave feeling stupid and not heard. I think it’s time I finally find a physician who wants to help when I am feeling unwell.

I’ve only gone to her a handful of times, but every appointment she rushes me, talks AT me and does not listen or EVER ask if I have any other concerns before rushing out the door. She has no compassion for her patients and any advice she has given to me was just referring me to a specialist. I have four friends that go to her and feel the same way. My visits have been a waste of my time and money. I think that’s her number one priority...run pts in and out for that almighty dollar. I will not be going back to her. I need a PC that actually cares.

Maybe she was just having a bad day, but my visit with Dr. Wagner was horrible. She didn't listen, she was argumentative, and disrespectful. I will not be returning and definitely would not recommend her.
