Dr. Anna Young, MD

I've worked around many doctors throughout my life. This in one i would warn anyone who needs conaistent care to stay away from. Rude, condescending, and impatient pretty much sums up the way she practices. Pretty sad that anyone should be employed who acts like she does.

Terrific communicator

My husband has been Dr. Young's patient for 7 years. He is healthy but in the last couple of years has conditions related to aging that should be addressed as they are becoming chronic. His last appointment was 2 days ago. He addressed his 2 major concerns and she did nothing, except give him a script for one issue, for a med that he can't take more than 2 months because it's not good for you, and it is not a cure - just kicking the can down the road. I am beyond not happy. She should have referred him to 2 different specialists to get to the bottom of things. I am now on the hunt for a new GP.

Dr. Young saw my daughter who was very sick and did nothing for her! Two days latter she was in the ER with pneumonia and severely dehydrated! She did not have any exams or bloodwork done. I will never take my daughter back to her again! My daughter is severely compromised and she should listen to the parents of these kids instead of treating them like everyone else. She could have died! She was in the ER for 8 hours just getting rehydrated and IV antibotics!

First visit she informed me that she was on a tight schedule and that she had 30 minutes to give me. She turned my apt. into a psychiatric evaluation because I had once been on depression meds. She did not listen to my physical health concerns. Wrapped up my apt. telling me what she thought of my psyche. 30 minutes of hell. I left feeling that nothing had concerns about had been heard. I suggest going elsewhere if your looking for an understanding, communicative doctor.

As a first time patient (with somewhat of a medical background), I was very impressed with Dr. Young and her assistant (Ron). Dr. Young took a significant amount of time with me; not rushing through the visit. Her assistant Ron was also very attentive and is able to 'read' patients personalities well. The reception staff was also very pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend Dr. Young (and staff) to my family and/or friends.

I have never had a doctor who cares so much about my health and well being. She is always available in an emergency. She really listen to my input and encourages me on staying well at 75. She is a real gem!!! Also, her two nurses and physical assistant (kathy frake). She has always been right on with her diagnosis. ?? her whole office staff.

Dr. Young speaks in terms understandable to the untrained ear of her patients. I would highly recommend her.
