Dr. Anne-Marie Cosijns, MD

Dr. Cosijans was my pain management doctor years ago until I had to change health plans. Since then I have seen a pain management dr. I was given injections in my spine with the hopes that my pain would be blocked. It did not work. Also the medication that this doctor prescribed for me did not work. Since that time, I have not been under the care of any pain management doctor. I decided to see if Dr. Cosijans accepted the health plan that I was on. To my joy, she was!!! If I would have known that, I would be seeing her all along! She is very professional , accurate and thorough! She takes as much time as she needs to give an accurate diagnosis and to prescribe the proper medication. She is NOT a quack! At the end of the visit she requires you to sign legal papers stating that you will take the medication as directed and not give them to anyone else. I am so greatful that she is once again my pain management doctor!

AVOID THIS PRACTICE! I was recently forced to change insurance plans and this doc was not covered. I booked with another doc and the appt is ONLY one month out but I only have 2 wks worth of medication left. I called and asked ifthis practice would cover the two wks and the answer was only if I booked another appt and pd out of pocket for the visit! I've had this same dilemma with other insurances and the previous docs have ALWAYS given me another prescription to cover the time period.

Patient since 2010, seen six times a year, and always have good appts. See lots of docs for many chronic issues, and she is easily best of the lot. Responds to questions and comments well--not gruff or curt, and not a dissertation. She’s professional and warm without being cloying. She is lately in this new office with Dr Seth forced into using his questionnaire, which doesn’t leave as much time for give and take, but will always treat your questions with respect. Overall the very best.

Dr. Cosijns is thorough, knowledgeable, really listens, and gives exceptional care. I have had pain management for more than 25 years after 9 back operations and a heart transplant. The care I have received has been excellent and I am a very complex patient. You may have to wait, but she will take the same care and time with you as well. I am very lucky to have her as my physician.

I did not know that every DR. prior to her was so incompetent and illiterate until she was willing to educate me during on that during our first meeting. She graced me with this education after allowing me to take up board in her unsanitary office while enjoying a untimely 1:15 hr wait. It became obvious that I was not worthy of the care, attention, or even a explanation of my medications. And who am I to question her medication choices, or state ineffectiveness. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with her

Dr. Cosijns is a wonderful, caring and compassionate doctor. She is very smart and has a lot of experience. She doesn't rush appointments and listens to your concerns. I have had the pleasure of seeing her and her husband (who is now retired) for a horribly painful condition and they have always addressed all my concerns. You are not just a number, but someone who matters. I cannot recommend Dr. Cosijns enough. Thank you for everything you do for me!

My mom recently began seeing Dr C and for the FIRST TIME in her adult life my mom sleeps through the night, has adequate pain relief WITHOUT being over medicated. My Mom is 81 years young and she has battled chronic pain since her early 20's. My heart is elated for the relief my Mom has. It's difficult to treat chronic pain in elderly people with COPD. Dr. C has done so and done so quite well for my Mom. My utmost gratitude for you and your staff Dr C. Thank you from my heart.
